🏆 Gold Cup Champion – 2015–16 (14/23)

Jamie, Jamie, and Jamie! Jamie Larsen claimed his second Gold Cup victory, finishing ahead of his fellow namesakes Jamie McDonald and Jamie Duff.

This season also saw Larsen pick up his second New Zealand Minisprint Championship, and his first of five National Sprintcar placings, cementing his place among New Zealand’s top Sprintcar drivers.

‼️Baypark Piston Cup

Only our second meeting for the season. Car was fast right off the bat.

Heat 1 - grid 2, finished 1st
Heat 2 - grid 7 finished 6th

Pole shuffle. Moved forward two spots before being sent to the infield for a jumpstart challenging for g3.

Started p4 in the feature. Ended up battling for the lead for a short while. The car was on rails and it was looking to be an exciting final 8 laps before a yellow came on. Had a bad restart resulting in a big wreck. I’m a bit bruised, but unfortunately the car was a write off. Currently reassessing our next steps.

📍 Baypark Speedway 17th Jan

The Alexander Motorsport Sprintcar is set to have its first shakedown tonight at Baypark.

We have enjoyed having the first half of the season off to spend time with family and put together a new package.

Massive thanks to our Sprintcar crew and partners. It’s great to be back trackside.
