Someone has it for sale on marketplace, looks like one of your boards because of markings.

This is why the mountain team set off avalanches.
If you ski or board back country, make sure you're prepared to survive.
They use special wooden bats to knock off the ice to ensure that they don't damage the metal of the chairs, cable or the towers.
Once the de-icers (Yup, that's a job) have become skilled enough, they get different bats to use that are more effective.
Have a Great weekend Team :)
Thank you for your awesome customer service.I absolutely love my new boots. Thanks Shona for going out of your way on a busy day to make sure I was happy.I wish every shop was as good as you guys.xx

SHARES IN MT RUAPEHU
Heres some information around having shares in RAL, which local businesses and Life Pass holders should know.

Anyone can buy shares:
Just email: [email protected]
Asking to buy x number of shares.
The shares are only $1 or $20
BUY 1 OR BUY 100! - I think you can’t buy more than 100
You don't earn anything except the good feeling you get knowing you are protecting our Maunga for the future.

Heres a link to a really good article in the media recently:
Mt Ruapehu Skiers on Carve-Pp: 'We don't Want Another ...https://www.newsroom.co.nz › mt-ruapehu-skiers-we-don…

There is also a Private Group page set up by shareholders: "Mt Ruapehu Shareholders” - currently life pass holders can view it but it will revert back to being only shareholders in the new year.
The recent discussions have been around RAL recently trying to push through a complete company restructure by moving all assets and liabilities into a new company, so they could seek new investors. The worry is that this could potentially leave Life Pass Holders high and Dry in the future and currently all profits are reinvested back into the mountain. New investors would seek profit.

Mt Ruapehu, Whakapapa & Tūroa Ski Areas

On the positive side, Whakapapa has an express chair and the Far Left TBar is open which means you can get on Black Magic!

High Noon Express Final Update: Ross Copland, RAL CE.

A detailed report by wire rope experts has been peer reviewed by both the rope and lift manufacturer. Regrettably RAL has been advised that the haul rope is unsafe to operate. A range of repair solutions were explored in detail over the past 48 hours but none of the options gave us certainty that the lift would open again this season. Its been a tough few weeks for the crew but the snow is still falling and we know you how much you love this amazing place - see you here for a shred real soon. #WeAreTūroa

14/08/2018

Handy tip for those new to our Magic Mountain... the ski field is above the cloud line, so don't look outside expecting to know if it's good or not, just get in it and on it!
We have the best hire gear for miles - come and try something different.

Once that sun creeps over, the top ice will thaw and it's the best ride ever! The crunching of the ice and the softness underneath are a great combo.

Bring your gear in to have a sharpen so that you can slice through early morning ice.

08/08/2018

Who's looking forward to seeing this view Friday morning?
Turoa knows how to put on a morning show.

Did you know that we give some of the best edges in town?
Bring your gear in and we can service it overnight, ready to cut into those frosty mornings.

07/08/2018

Who's stoked for this weekend? The weather looks great!
We've already got customers prebooking - if you've hired with us before, we can get you the same gear and set it aside, meaning quicker hire times for YOU!

Tell your boss that they need to take you skiing for a three day weekend.

Mt Ruapehu, Whakapapa & Tūroa Ski Areas

As long as the weather can clear, we're still good to go around at Whakapapa.

The earlier you're here, the better parking you'll get and who doesn't love first tracks?!?!

Mt Ruapehu, Whakapapa & Tūroa Ski Areas

YAY! The Far West T Bar is opening! Some of the best riding can be had out there and it also gives you the longest run on the mountain!

It's the one we've all been waiting for... Whakapapa's Far West T-Bar will OPEN at 10.30am today and the snow is looking EPIC!! 😝

First T Tees will be waiting for the first 2 riders and we have 8 more West Is Best tees to give away!

It's gonna be a stunner!! 👌❤️

02/08/2018

To our much loved customers.

It's Friday, you're heading into work and we're looking forward to seeing you - after you've driven safely. If you're tired, pull over for a nap - it's okay, we open the shop again at 7am tomorrow and that gives you plenty of time to get your gear AND still have first tracks and a park at the top!

Much love,

The team at Ski Biz and Snowzone.

Fatigue is a major issue during the winter season and it is not uncommon for drivers to travel long distances without sufficient rest, especially after a weekend of skiing. This often causes drivers to make unsafe driving decisions such as speeding and dangerous passing maneuvers when travelling home from the ski fields.

This weekend, our Police will be patrolling the roads and conducting checkpoints focusing on Restraints, Impairment, Distractions, Speed and fatigue to ensure EVERYONE gets home safe.

Hard mahi @turoanz today 😮
Thanks for your patience while the crew really test their forearms hitting all this off!
