We've been quiet, but not idle. Our team smashed out both the Easter BOL and ANZAC BOL support services, fast, safe, and done right. Proud of the hard mahi our crew put in for our client, especially our newer onboards who jumped into the rail work with energy and pride.
Big thanks to our Ops Manager Ace for always looking after our crew and keeping the standard high. Thanks to our Client for trusting in us to help support your job scope.

We've had a few messages come through about this. To clear things up: our team AND our client were NOT the contractors responsible.
For privacy and professionalism, we will NEVER name or discuss the contractors who were responsible.
But we do feel it's important to back ourselves and our client, especially when we've received colourful private messages from individuals who have absolutely no idea what they're talking about lol🤦🏽
What we can say is this: our crew/client did an awesome job, completed work scope with zero faults. We're extremely proud of the hard mahi that our guys put in during the Christmas BOL, and we had nothing to do with the Waitangi BOL.
So to the small handful of trolls who think they know what they're talking about; go enjoy your day, smile, be kind and learn to be FACTUAL. It costs less then your train ticket, ciao! 🙂
Parnell rail tunnel has been closed and no trains are running from Newmarket to Waitematā.

We're excited to announce that Jobvance Rail will officially rebrand to Blackout Rails. While our socials may be abit quiet, we're busy working behind the scenes on a full rebrand of our pages and we're excited for what's ahead this year.
Thanks for sticking with us!

30/12/25 Briefing. While the day‑shift crew set the pace, our night‑shift ops carried on to keep the momentum alive, shot boys

29/12/25 Briefing. Our day‑shift crew kicked off mahi early, setting their pace and pushing through strong. A big first shift for some stepping into the rail corridor for the first time, but the momentum stayed up. Solid work, team. Let’s continue to support our client through this Xmas (BOL) Block of Line. Lesgo!
VOC day for our operators. Big shout out to Karl, Ron and John from TRS for looking out for our guys, and big ups to our Jobvance Rail advisor Ace for steering the way. Fun day for the guys, before the real fun begins in the corridor 😅

to our first crew on the rails. In April 2025, these seven stepped into the corridor for their first time, taking on general labouring and (MPC) Mobile Plant Controller roles - during Easter (BOL) Block Of Line. Our Ops Manager Ace, trained them on track safety procedures and helped build their confidence. A big moment for Jobvance but even bigger moment for them
Still open! apply today.
TRACKSIDE LEVEL UP
Our Jobvance operators swapped out machines for hands‑on track mahi and absolutely smashing it.
We were Hosted and trained by the awesome John Kauvai, Maika (Level 2), and Level 1 track workers from (TRS) Total Rail Solutions who covered;
- Unclipping
- Measuring
- Cutting
- Preparing and dropping welds
- Shaving and grinding welds
- Reinstating clips
A solid outcome all round. Different mahi for our crew who usually run plant, but they took the challenge head‑on and enjoyed every minute of it.
Big shoutout to Ace, our Operations Manager, for steering the kaupapa, and massive thanks to the team at TRS for hosting us and sharing their knowledge, experience, and trackcraft. Grateful for the support, boys are already keen for the next training day.
