Planing ahead for spring what plants is everyone looking to grow in their gardens. Would I be able to supply you with them?
Coming in spring I’ll have a selection of herbs (these are available all year round) natives (also available all year) dahlia’s assorted colours so they’ll be a lucky dip on what you get. Selection of veggies and some flowers, tomatoes.

But this is where I need your help what flowers and vegetables would you be looking for, would you want mixed 6 packs consisting of what you want to be planting. Any other ideas that you have are also appreciated

Winter has definitely arrived but don’t let that stop you from getting your gardens tidied up.
The best time to prep for your spring and summer garden is now.
There is still plenty to do in the garden front from hedge trimming, shrub tidy up, applying peastraw, mulching and general w**ding and cutting back of perennials and plantings.
Spaces for June are fast filling up so don’t hesitate to get in contact

Garden freshen up for a client, removing the old Anemanthele lessoniana ‘wind grass’ that had been in the garden for over 20 years. Added some compost to give the new plants a boost and replanted 7 Anemanthele lessoniana and 3 Pittosporum tenuifolium ‘little kiwi’ along the front to have it act as a barrier for the garden. Keeping the garden low maintenance but allowing it to still have structure

Rose pruning time is fast approaching.

This July and August I will be offering rose pruning, this will include removal of any dead, diseased and dying canes, old roses will also get a wire brush treatment to encourage growth lower down.
This service can also include a feed of blood and bone, sheep pellets and a spray to set them up for the best chance come spring.

Don’t hesitate to send a message to book a slot the days will be weather dependent as we want the best chance for the rose so they’ll only be being pruned on sunny days.

Pruning photos are from my time working in Queens Park

As April concludes, we transition into the colder and wetter months, yet garden maintenance remains essential.

This period presents an ideal opportunity to complete any outstanding plantings. Applying pea straw or bark mulch to the garden helps suppress w**d growth, retain moisture, and prepare it for winter.

Although I often remember to take photos halfway through the job, here are some images of a recent garden tidy, which included pruning plants, w**ding, redefining garden edges, and applying pea straw to prepare for winter.
