Huge thanks to Rio Tinto | NZAS for their generous support in sponsoring the purchase of our new IRB engine πŸ™Œ

The engine is already being put to great use on the water and is a fantastic asset for our members, helping us training, respond, and operate more effectively.

We’re incredibly grateful for the continued support or organisations that help make what we do possible β€οΈπŸ’›

It’s that time of year again β€” the Burt Munro Challenge is back in Invercargill!
The event runs from Wednesday 4 February to Sunday 8 February.
If you’re heading south for the week, make sure you check out the beach. Beach racing will be on Friday from 10am, so it’s a great chance to come down and watch the action.
While Burt may have been a master on the sand, not everyone is β€” please remember to take it slow on the beach. The speed limit is 30km/h.
Our lifeguards will be patrolling Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, so feel free to take a dip, say hi to the team, and swim between the flags πŸ”΄πŸŸ‘.
Stay safe and enjoy the week!

Not quite beach perfect today, but we’re hopeful for tomorrow. Sunday is shaping up a little better with a high of 15 degrees and some sunshine!

Rain or shine, our lifeguards are on duty every weekend from 12-5pm, keeping an eye on the water and helping everyone enjoy the beach safely. Remember if you are heading to the beach for a swim, swim between the flags! πŸ”΄πŸŸ‘

Beautiful beach conditions made for a perfect day of Nippers training!
Great to see our young members building confidence in the water, learning new skills, and enjoying everything the beach has to offer! 🌊
