Hutton Homewares
I am a Southland based business making homewares, wheatbag, and fun things for children's play
Please get your laughter out now before I have to go to school swim sports day π
The kids did such a fantastic job yesterday helping me clear up hedge trimmings that I thought they deserved to toast some marshmallows on the bonfire..
Ya gal loves a toasted marshmallow...
But I'll tell you what, that molten cloud of deliciousness will rip the skin right off your lip if you get to close when giving it a sniff π¬
Lessons were learnt, memories were made π₯
Give this gal a wall to push off and it's quite possible I can move the heavy thing π
Would it have been easier to empty the fish tank?
Absolutely.
But by this stage in their life Harry and Shiney McLongfin are well used to my antics
They are now safely in their new location π±π

Ok but why are girl rooms SO fun to style β¨
I started with some curtain lights and net curtains⦠added a giant bow⦠and now I fear I may need one in every room of the house honestly.
I can just imagine these above a little bed or reading nook creating the cosiest little space π
Which bow would your little one choose?
I had a bit of fun playing around with different ways to use the wall bows... and this is my current fave π
Serious question though, would you do this in your little girls room?
Wall bow used is 'Lemon floral' in Medium π
Restock is now LIVE so you can head to the link in my bio for all the new beautiful goodies!
Each bow is lovingly handmade by me, possibly at 3am, but still filled with love π

2016, feels like just yesterday, but also a different life time!
This was a very cool walk down memory lane - ironic seen as I lost a chunck of memory in the 2015 concussion π
Its pretty amazing looking back and seeing how far we have come, Two amazing little boys, a whole lot more wrinkles (mostly smile lines π₯°), some amazing furry friends gained, and some beautiful souls lost along the way.
What a journey to get to where we are today, but full of love and adventure π

Some things I am going to take into 2026, from 2025.
1. Prioritising laughter.
2. Not comparing myself to others.
3. Being proud of what I have achieved.
4. Less time spent stressing over content.
5. Keep making things that spark joy.
6. A morning cuddle with a goat does wonders for the rest of the day.
Anyone want to check in in June and see how well ive been sticking to those ππ¬
