UNICEF New Zealand - Kiwis making a difference

We are very excited to host a youth hui with local partners and young people in Gisborne on Saturday 26th of August. We are aiming to have 50 youth aged 13 yrs and over attend. We are in the early stages of planning, so would welcome any ideas or advice you could share with us to successfully engage young people in Gisborne. This event will be free for young people to attend.

We would love to connect with young people who are interested in co-hosting the event, may wish to help facilitate the day and would be keen to contribute ideas to the content/design of the hui. As part of the hui, we are keen to include fun and creative elements to appeal to young people!

There is a planning meeting on August 2nd, 1100am-2.30pm at the Gisborne Police Station.

Please let me know if you are interested in finding out more or could recommend contacts that may be interested in supporting the hui.

Warm wishes,

Jacqui Southey
