Were you at the 2025 NZHRA Streetrod Nationals in Gisborne a few weeks ago, hosted by ? What an incredible event!

We were honoured to be part of the show, with our amazing volunteers collecting donations from the generous public. By the end of the event, an incredible $1,000 was raised for Hospice through community donations.

But that’s not all—Surf City Rod and Custom Club stepped up in a big way and matched the total amount raised! 🚗💨💙

A huge thank you to everyone who contributed and to Surf City Rod and Custom Club for their generosity!

A huge kia ora to Sean Story, Jayson Hiko, Cody Mackinder, and their incredible crew at Shear For Support for their hard work during the 24-hour shearathon in December.

Their inspiring effort resulted in an amazing donation of $3,430.08 to Hospice from donations made through Givealittle, with approximately another $30,500 to come from sponsorship, raffles and personal donations! How good is that????

This generous contribution will make a real difference, helping us continue to provide palliative care for individuals with life-limiting conditions in our community.

Thank you for your support and aroha—it means the world to us! 🫶
