Excellent training tonite guyz, good advanced training and good to bring some old school waewae love to hate drills back in.. You guys handled it well.. A mihi to those who didnt come in the last couple of weeks.. Keep up the elite standards of training and respect for the taonga o Mau Rakau.. Wow Mean training tonite whanau, Good for the tinana, Good for the Wairua, Good for Whanau, Hapu and Iwi... Tonite we were out at Whatatutu with our whanau Lloyd.. Man mean update tour f their Pa... Mean. Special training there to spend with one of our Senior Tutor / Pukenga for last time for the next 2 years as he leaves next week to serve the lord an d go on his mission in Phillipines. Go hard young bro, See you when you get back, the time will go fast. Awesome. Another announcement, We have a newly established Pukenga in our midst, Anthony Te Puke, All your hard work, your positive work in the community..... your uniqueness, ihi wehi mana tapu... too much anthony, more levels and sessions to learn but also teach for our future tauira(students). Kia ora koutou nga whanau o Nga Ariki Kai Putahi... Mean venue tonite, It would have been mean to train till dusk and then kick it in the whare iti to wananga, hei korero... Kiaora whanau... what an awesome training tonite.. alot of sweat and tears gone in... tonnes of hard work... mihi to all who turned up. Also a huge to mihi to our Lloyd whanau seeing their daughter and sister off.. heading out on a mission in Phillipines. Mean Olea... Tonite several gradings but a major one tonite was Anthony Tepuke getting his 1st level in Kai wero... Currently Antarge Lloyd has 1st, 2nd and 3rd level..... Antonio Lloyd has 1st and 2nd level... and our newest Kaiwero is a 1st Level...that is Anthony Tepuke... Mean bro... Awesome Anthony.. Ka Mau te Wehi... Excellent efforts to our other students. Johnny Hauiti and Rioss McHugh...good gradings guys.. sharp swift and high discipline...represent your whanau hapu and Iwi... a mihi to our other students who were of due to school ball.. Kimaya Lockley and Royce Kaa...you guys looked mean.. now to wrap up for the rest of the year.. our public class finish for the year tonite and will start in the new year.. thank u to all who supported us.. the organisations ... Turangaararau... Nga Rakau Tapu o te Atua Council... The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.. Thanku.... Our tutors will have for the next 2 weeks Command and Leadership training which is by invite only.. This will be a.camp out.. Friday Nite to Saturday before lunch. Excellent training last nite whanau. Not long till christmas. For alot of us, our thursdays are one of the special days of the week to strengthen and connect our wairua and tinana.. for those that keep coming and putting in the effort to uphold traditional teachings from our tipuna, kei te mihi, I salute you.. dont do it just to get out of home.. dont do it cause you want to learn how to hurt people.. do it cause you want it for you.. names will not be mentioned but those know who they are.. keep up the good work.. if you know people or whanau who just need an outlet once a week, let them know, come down, they might be surprised, they might like it.. we tutors have to keep sharing, to maintain our culture, our treaty, our tino rangatiratanga, our flag, those who went to war and never returned, Mau Rakau is about maintaing pou in the Whanau, Hapu and Iwi infra structure.. have a good day whanau, WHITI WHITI...... TOA!
