Stroke Tairawhiti

A survivor's end of year public ramble:
The Stroke Club fast running down to the last days of this not-nice year. But Christmas just around the corner and today the whole country is on the move especially into Auckland airport. People finally able to travel around the regions and Covid numbers have been dropping. So we all must have been doing something right😇 Tairawhiti only 38 people away from the 90% vaccinated target and the amber light 🙂

Might be a good time to rush in and change the old Will. If you going to make a small legacy for the local Gisborne Tairaawhiti stroke survivor programmes be sure the lawyer checks our address and let us know by dropping into our office in Palmerston Road. So many different outfits out there and a lot of Palmerstons in NZ😏
Encouraging numbers from Tairaawhiti Times. But still aways to go before we come out of the Red Light District
It’s Stroke Awareness Week in Gisborne and our friends at Stroke Tairawhiti are offering free BP checks today at the Kaiti Hub.

If you're nearby, head on down to ask about the signs of stroke and the support services offered by this wonderful organisation, to stroke survivors and their whānau! ❤

Kia ora, can some one help me find some information about driving again after a stroke please.
The flamingos have landed in Gisborne so where have they landed today.
The Flamingo's are coming to Gisborne 15 February to 14 March 2021. This is a fundraising activity by Stroke Tairawhiti raising funds to deliver rehabilitation support programs e.g. weekly exercise to build muscle tone, strength and wellbeing and weekly communications programs to build confidence, socialization and continued development of the linguistic pathways, communication etc.

Why not nominate a friend to be flocked for a day for a minimum $25 donation OR should you not want to be flocked at all you can purchase an Anti-Flocking Insurance for just $20.

A fun way to raise funds meant in a spirt of goodwill and friendship.

Complete a form/s below and email back to [email protected] or drop in 340 Palmerston Road Gisborne. Payment can be made into our bank account or dropped into the office if a receipt is required.

Hope to see a good uptake on this fundraiser and look forward to your participation.😀
It's almost my baby brother's b/day. He's only seventy mumble now. He phoned y/day and said he's been diagnosed stage something cancer. Old story. His regular doctor said he had indigestion or something and the young stand in sent him for tests. They say "See the doctor!" But they don't always get it right until the problem is so obvious the receptionist could tell you. You pick the smiley...oh hang on 😯
A huge thanks to Gisborne Wainui Lions Club for their very generous donation to support delivery of stroke rehabilitation programs to local stroke survivors. We appreciate your efforts in raising these funds to assist us.

$15 to reach the $1,600 mark, we are getting there, hit the donate button to help us get there.
