Manawatia Matariki! Happy Volunteer Awareness Week!
Turned out to be a beauty of a day out Anaura Bay today with our Anaura whanau, a nuku Raukūmara Pae Maunga Restoration Project, Nga Hua o Mōrere. Making time to restore a precious waterway with native grasses and harakeke supplied by Nursery Rongowhakaata, trees donated by Mere Tamanui and harakeke split from established plants. Thank you whanau for a beautiful day!

Feeling Grateful for
To all those who give of their time to caring for our native taonga - you are Champions!

Just like these guys in the video below who this weekend past, helped Ranger Joe Waikari, build a Ngutukaka Enclosure for Rangiwaho Marae. This Ngutukaka whakapapa is native to this area often referred to as Bartletts Ngutukaka. Having their Ngutukaka by the marae ensures our whanau can care for their taonga.
Special thanks to:
Rangiwaho Marae
Joe Waikari

Who’s ready to roll? We are🚘🥾✨
Nau mai, haere mai e te whānau

The Raukūmara Results Roadshow is hitting the road and coming your way.

Together, we’ve achieved what many thought was impossible:

🐾 Predator pressure reduced
🌱 Our forest breathing again
🪐 Iwi-led conservation proving it’s not just effective but essential.

Come and explore some interactive stations that bring the ngahere directly to you. See the monitoring, check out some of the data and ask any of those burning pātai that might be stored away.

This is a chance to connect with us and learn more about our ngahere together.

Can’t wait to see you all there!! Keep following along the journey for further updates💛

Ngā manaakitanga,
Raukūmara Pae Maunga
