Warning: contains images of a beautiful building and a plea for community help. 🏚
Share, like and spread the word at your discretion.
East Coast Museum of Technology holds a historical gem that use to nourish community bones with dairy products such as milk, cream, butter, ice cream and yoghurt🥛.
We are not overly proud of its current state, but we are beyond proud that this beautiful building is part of the Te Tairawhiti community.
If you swipe right, you will see the beautiful interior and another amazing exterior shot.
We need help and all hands on deck 🛠to help jump on board from the beginning to nourish this buildings bones from the inside out!
We are pretty lucky to have such a beautiful building like this, often they are converted and seen near harbours and are often similar to the wool stores overseas!
Our Gisborne community are pretty lucky custodians of this. But time is not on our side! And we need community spirit that aroha nui that we get from the He Tangata, He Tangata, He Tangata.🤍
But “she’s a pretty big job.... so Gissy, give us a hand” . We can not do this all by ourselves as volunteers! We need some more ladies and blokes who want to help the dream, help gather donations, help us fundraise, submit funding applications and just generally get stuck in and help us get moving and better yet help us spread the word that here at the East Coast Museum of Technology a little goes a long way!

NEW COLLECTION alert under wraps 🎁 we can’t wait for this to be displayed! Will you help us curate these treasures?

Hi Folks,
There has been a bit of a cleanup going on over Christmas the area where the Dairy Factory managers house was which was demolished last year due to safety concerns has been cleared thanks to Trevor Jukes and his team.
There is still some more work yet to be done levelling and getting some grass seed down which will hopefully give us an enhanced display area maybe even a "Colonial Village" concept.
