Well folks, Sorry I havnt posted for a while, But I'm back on track again. Don't forget tomorrow being ANZAC DAY, 05.30am at the Cenotaph, breakfast at the club at 7am $10, civic parade at 09.00am, peel street.


Well folks, if you didn't come to the Club to see Tony and the boys bring tribute to Stevie you missed out on the most amazing night, Stevie would've been proud of what the boys brought to the table, Tonys blistering versions of all of Stevies music was just the best sounds Ive heard for the longest time, we had a very appreciative crowd and it was easy to see that there were a lot of STEVIE RAY VAUGHAN fans in the house, HUGE hats off to Tonys amazing guitar playing ability on every song he and the boys played, I have no words to describe how awesome that was, all I can say is I smiled all night without a doubt, and to top it off what a great bunch of folks the whole team is, Wives included, thanks so very much Tony for bringing your best to our RSA.


Well folks the tickets are selling well down here at the Club, it wont be long now and Tony and the boys will be kicking off, So come on down, we are doing door sales and the Restaurant is open to

Well, this is our last week till Tony Painting and the Power come to our Club to bring tribute to STEVIE RAY VAUGHANs music, Tickets $30 from the Bar or The Gisborne Deli Butchery. Tony and the boys will be playing this Saturday 5th March 8pm, the restaurant will be open at 6pm and the draw and raffles will be on as usual so come on down.

Well this is our last week till Tony Painting and the Power band come down from Auckland to bring some Texas Blues reminding us the Stevie Ray Vaughans music will be never ending, along with some tributes to the other greats, Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton and Jeff Beck, You can pick up your tickets from the RSA or the Gisborne Deli, Darryns got a few there in the Butchery. Its gonna be an awesome night folks so don't miss out. Just a little something else, If you are a Blues fan, 'The Blues Club' is on the first Tuesday of every month at the Poverty Bay club, $5 door entry, also Spellbound Harbour Radio is on 106.8fm, Dean plays a mass of Blues right there, there is a bit of other music as well but you hang about and the Blues are right there, American Blues, Kiwi Blues and others, check it out.

Hey folks, how y'all today? another fab day in Gizzy, Im just reminding you about tonights 'STEAK 'N' ALE' night, Choose from T bone, Scotch or Sirloin steak, a choice of lots of sauces and help yourself to the Salad bar, then come up to the bar for your complimentary cold drink, all for just $20. Last week the turnout was fab, so we're keeping it running, so come on down and treat yourselves.


Well what a great night we had last night, ORA blew the roof off and if there were cobwebs in the corners she blew those out too, That girl has got some pipes, we all had such a good time, even the Bar staff had a blast, and the Whanau stayed on after with a guitar and brought some more sounds, a fantastic way to finish the night, with much laughter, Big Thanks to ORA and Brother Rangi, Oras sound man, too much you Rangi, Arohanui.


What a fantastic opening night for our 'Steak n Ale' it's been a huge success so huge thanks to Den and her team in the Kitchen, Mike, Dels and Kelly working their butts off to make it a success, Cheers Ben on the Bar, and a huge thanks to Paku, she knows why. I had the Scotch fillet steak, mushroom sauce n mash and helped myself to my salads and sauces from the buffet, cold drink from the bar to wash it down, all for $20. We'll be doing it all over again next Thursday so come on down and steak it up. By the way.... The Restaurant is still doing the regular meals as well in case you already have a fav Meal. Chomp chomp y'all

Anyways, this week at the Club, we have a new happening called 'STEAK N ALE" on Thursday nights starting at 6pm, A steak of your choice, help yourself to the salad bar and all sorts of yummy sauces, your choice of mash or fries to add to the mix and come to the bar for your complimentary cold drink, all for just $20.oo, we look forward to seeing y'all there, and remember to bring a friend, our Restaurant is open to all, young and old, and if you choose a different menu well thats ok too. Don't forget the draw on Wednesday night as well.


What a great day eh folks, the TV says it was 31* which means it was at least 34+, isn't it great to be living here? Now, tomorrow night, we have Tahi Paenga bringing his sound to us from 6till 9pm, and the roast from our Denise< Michael and the girls in the Restaurant will be roast pork, roast veges and greens,and I have a sneaking suspicion that Den will also be making a Rhubarb n Apple sponge for pudding, Den and Michael always cook a real hearty down home roast so come on down for dinner and enjoy Tahi as well. see you there.

Hiya again folks, well another week into January 2016, We have Tahi Paenga and Karl playing for us this Friday 6pm tip 9pm, Having Common time playing a couple of weeks ago was so popular we thought wed do it all over, so come on down and cut a little rug Friday. Apart from that see you Wednesday for the draw as usual.


Well we had a good night Friday night, the Band 'Common Time' got some good reviews, it seemed the starting time 6pm to 9pm was a hit, everyone had a good time, watch this space for some more of those happening hours. The draw didn't go, so next Friday itl be $800. Remember folks the Subs were due 1st January.


Just a reminder, the draw is $750 tomorrow night so if you haven't renewed your subs you won't be in the draw, so get thee down to the club tomorrow and renew ok? 07/01/2016
