Korora Cam is in action we have our first eggs this week. We are working with Matt and Dion at Tier 2 who have done an amazing job with the engineering to get this camera up and running. This is for a private client but we hope in future that live feeds can be developed with open access for anyone wishing to log in.

In 2011 Tuatara were returned to Tairāwhiti at the Te Kurī Sanctuary. Te Kurī Trust - Hīkoi to Orongo & Te Kurī Sanctuary..."an opportunity for whānau to see, feel and share whakaaro in the Ngāhere restoration and translocation of Taonga species for the Te Kurī - Rangihoua Kaupapa."

A great week with Shelley and her team at Hillbrook Estate, Coromandel. Guido and Steve setting up pest control to protect kaka, penguin, petrels and other critters. An amazing place used as a popular film location. We have been spoilt rotten working with Shelley, Edgar, Marius and Nadia and the awesome community.

We gave a community presentation, installed trapping stations to control possum, ship, Norway rat and mice, stoat, ferret and weasel, hedgehog and feral cats and did a spot of thermal shooting for rabbits. Using auto traps with apps and mapping with Trap.NZ allows quality data storage and transparent project design to be set up for friends such as Shelley and her team.

Another busy month for the Ecoworks team working on stream monitoring, kiwi recovery, new seabird projects, lizard surveys, bat monitoring with Aratu Forests Ltd, w**d control and tree planting projects, pest control and working with our kaimahi on the hill.
