A ladies jacket was left in our clubhouse after the tournament last weekend. Let me know if you’re missing one
An amazing two days of tennis in Tairawhiti this weekend. Great weather, great people and great tennis. Thanks to all who supported, especially Ray White Gisborne our major sponsor.
Entries are a bit slow coming in and only 2 1/2 weeks to go now! For those who've never been before we'd love to see you. We offer cash prizes, great venues, awesome kai and amazing atmosphere. There is camping available at the courts for anyone in caravans/campers. We'd also love to see all our regulars back again.
Only 4 weeks to go until Gissy tournament. Get your entries in please 😀
Entries are now open online for our tournament scheduled for November 5-6th 2022. We are excited to announce Ray White Real Estate as our new main sponsor. We’d also like to acknowledge and thank FMG Insurance for all their years of support. Looking forward to seeing you all in November

Unfortunately due to low numbers of entries we’ve made the difficult call to cancel our tournament scheduled for the weekend of the 26-27th of March. We know it is still 2 weeks out but want to give enough time for people to cancel their travel arrangements without penalties.
Thanks to all of you who continue to support our tournament and we will look forward to seeing you in November, perhaps without the Covid cloud hanging over us.
Morena tennis Whānau. Numbers for our rescheduled tournament are very low at present. If you are planning on entering can you please do it before Friday the 11th? If we don’t have sufficient numbers we will reluctantly have to cancel the tournament.
You can enter online via Tournament Software, or send your entry by email to [email protected].
Online entries are now open for our rescheduled tournament. Please note this needs to be a Vaccine Pass Required event in order for us to proceed.
We will be limiting dinner numbers to 100 so please make sure you book in
New tournament date confirmed for 26-27 March 2022. Entry forms available on Tennis Seniors website. Online entries will be open shortly.
Note this will be a vaccine pass required event due to numbers.
Entry form for Waitangi Weekend
Ok people, listen up! We have 3 suggestions for the new date for our tournament.
19-20 February or
26-27 March - currently leaning towards this as it will be good practice before teams in HB at Easter.
Let us know what you think.
Definitely not playable 😭
A few people have let us know they have until today to cancel accommodation or risk penalty. Our recommendation is that you cancel today and rebook on Friday if we go ahead. There shouldn’t be any shortage of accommodation options
The weather forecast for the weekend doesn’t look good. We have made the call today to cancel dinner as we had to let our caterer know. All who have paid will be refunded.
We are sending positive thoughts to the universe that the rain moves over us quickly but will be making a call on Friday as to whether the tournament will proceed.
Thanks for your understanding
A wee reminder that tournament entries close on the 2nd of November. Please pay online with your entries and note that dinner is separate from entry fees this year. We need to know dinner numbers for the caterer also by Tuesday. Looking forward to seeing you all next weekend

Planning is underway for our November tournament. With the Covid situation we are considering doing our Saturday night meal differently this year. Before we make any decisions though, we’d like to hear your preference. Instead of having a meal and prize giving at the Club we are considering taking it off site. Can you please let us know by commenting below if you would prefer dinner to stay at the club or at a restaurant. Thanks

On the plus side, there’s still time to enter if you’d planned on staying home to watch the AB’s in the final and are now thinking tennis is a much better option!!
