🎉 GirlGuiding NZ Jamboree 2027 – An Adventure of a Lifetime! 🎉
GirlGuiding New Zealand is hosting an incredible Jamboree from 14–20 January 2027 at the iconic Mystery Creek Events Centre, Ōhaupō, Waikato – and our unit is getting excited to be part of it!
This week-long camp will bring together girls, leaders, and volunteers from across Aotearoa and beyond for a celebration of friendship, adventure, and fun. For many of our Guides and Rangers, this will be a once-in-a-lifetime experience – making new friends, learning new skills, and creating memories that will last forever.
🌟 What is Jamboree?
Jamboree is a large-scale camp open to GirlGuiding NZ members and international Girl Guide & Girl Scout groups. It’s all about:
Making new friends
Trying exciting activities
Challenging yourself
Having loads of fun!
🌈 Event Highlights:
🚣 Adventure – Kayaking, raft building, offsite trips & more
🔥 Skills – Leadership, teamwork & outdoor experiences
🌍 Community – Campfires, cultural exchange & meeting Guides from around the world

📅 When: 14–20 January 2027
💰 Jamboree Fees:
Guides: $1,800
Rangers: $1,800–$2,000 (depending on adventure)
Adult Volunteers: $500
Pippin & Brownie Day Visit: $115
International Youth: $2,050
International Adults: $750
Your fee includes:

✔️ 5 full days of activities
✔️ Food & accommodation
✔️ Transport during the event

Yes! We encourage fundraising (in line with GirlGuiding NZ policy) to help make this adventure possible for everyone.

Looking for something for your girl to participate in this year? We offer weekly events for girls from 7-17 yo. From camping and outdoor cooking and outdoor adventures, getting to know what they are capable of and building confidence, to creating, STEM, art, trying new things, community service and making new friends. Older girls also have national and international opportunities to grasp with both hands.
