It's my 6th birthday today!! 🥳 We visited my mates Ollie and Tilly at our old farm. We all screamed at each other "Gidday mate!" Sooo happy to see each other after 6 months. I couldn't get out of the car fast enough. When we came home, I got a bone which the chooks had to clean up for me first. I don't like the fat. Thanks girls. Just when we thought the baby bird season was over, Mum found these little Tui chicks on the forest floor yesterday. Too young to leave the nest and too dangerous to stay there. Because the Tui is a native NZ bird, it is illegal to rehab them at home without a special permit. So we took them to our local bird rescue lady who has the required license. I wasn't sure if she should be taking them 'cos I thought they were my new babies.

Valentina and I like to share a snooze space on those stormy days when she comes inside.

I got a new scoop for Christmas. It's really a ball thrower but we call it a scoop because I lose so many balls under the furniture, Mum's trained me to fetch it so she can scoop them out. My old one is chewed up a bit.

My adventures on Christmas Day this year. Mum and I had a cruisy day at Albert Park and the viaduct doing some people watching. I especially enjoyed meeting Alan who is a dog lover. We gave him a Christmas cake and chatted to him for a while. Sometimes it's the simple things we do that matter more than spending money and celebrating in a big way. Alan agrees.
