My name is Lisa. I live in a mint green villa with a white picket fence in Auckland, NZ. One day i took a risk and launched Lisa G. Design. They make me smile.
I love vintage fabrics, my darling sewing machine, buttons, and lace trims. Thankfully, some retailers liked my cards with their quirky little pictures, and my woolen bookmarks with their equally quirky little pictures, and Lisa G. The ugly laundry door got transformed into a barn door, painted in charcoal and sanded back to rough it up a bit. I'm loving it 💙

I decided the spare room's rimu bed needing updating. It was a bit of a mission to be honest, but (like having children) once you've started, there's no going back 😜😳 Newtons Chalk Paints and wax finish did a brilliant job, all for under $100. If you're interested in technique and colour combo, feel free to ask questions. Now get inspired people and get creating ❤️

$18 total and took half an hour to put together. Better than store bought crappy ones for the same price. I have a deer obsession this year. All year. Probably won't ever go away.
