We have made a couple of changes to the standard Orchard layout, which you'll get to see soon. Most importantly though, we've added 2 extra holes, allowing 8 more players to join us at the Orchard on 16-17th November.

Today, 8 players have been promoted from the waitlist to the tournament list!

We will be opening a priority registration to the 2024 Auckland Disc Golf Championship for all 2023 Divisional Champions. Last years champions will have registration unlocked to them at 7pm this evening.

Everyone else, we hope you have fingers on buzzers for 8pm this evening to secure your spot.

This week sees the start of Disc Shop Disc Golf's new PDGA League out at Woodhill, featuring a bunch of newly made holes for a new challenge at the iconic Auckland course.

Disc Shop are also offering a generous discount to our club members so be sure to get along for some rated rounds at this winter disc golf gem!

Another month under the belt, another 4043km walked chasing small plastic discs that we're trying to throw far away while not losing... It's great to see so many courses getting so much traffic this winter, let's hope that you've been putting in the hours at Woodhill though as Winter league starts on the 21st and Haydn from has been putting in a huge amount of work evolving the course. Putting in new tees on new lines to switch up the Woodhill track we all know and love!

North Island Champs is happening at Xtreme 2024 this year, with registrations opening in 20 minutes! Get in quick to secure your spot at one of NZ's best courses!

Xtreme 24 Directed by Disc Shop NZ Xtreme 24 Directed by Disc Shop NZ is a PDGA-sanctioned disc golf tournament in Tauranga, New Zealand beginning October 26, 2024 and hosted by Tauranga Disc Golf Association.

Thanks to everyone who came down to Henderson today for our double(s) header! We had 21 players for doubles and 35 for Bag Tags in the afternoon, without a single drop of rain coming down until all was said and done.

Sam den Hartog and Charkit tore up our alternative 13-hole layout with a strong -9 in the doubles, coming out on top. However, this score was almost beaten solo by "Mr Henderson" himself, Sam Cross, shooting an impressive -8 in Tags to claim the #2 tag and be the winner on the day.

Congratulations also to new club member Marie who was drawn as our random prize winner from all participants, winning a $25 Discshop voucher!

Secretary: Responsible for recording meeting minutes, keeping a register of minutes, holding the society’s records, documents and books (except those required for the treasurer functions), receiving and replying to correspondence as required by the committee, forwarding annual financial statements for the society to the registrar of Incorporated societies, and advising the registrar of incorporated societies of any rule changes.

Treasurer: Responsible for keeping accurate accounting records of the society’s financial transactions, preparing financial statements for presentation at AGM, for the committee and any other needs.

Non-Essential Roles: These are used to support the essential board members or support the board with a specialized skill, such as and not limited to: event director, volunteer coordinator, education director, social media expert, player support, marketing, sponsorship…

Longtime supporter of ADGC Disc Shop Disc Golf is holding a Xmas event at Northridge on the evening Saturday December 2nd, 4pm-10pm as part of their Northridge Country Classic, the evenings festivities include a Hole in one comp (5 shots included), and a Putting course. $10 per person for the evening.

Theres a restaurant and bar on site, and should be a good night if you want to coax along your friends and family for the night.

ADGC will be there to help out and be there with merch and encouraging y'all into signing up for 2024.

Disc Shop has also thrown in a discount for the bounteous basket buffet of the full event rego which covers the practice day & party sat, and the PDGA sanctioned tourney Sunday for Auckland Disc Golf Club Active Members.

First Round of the First Major of the season is live!

PDGA Live | Moonbase IX Twizel - 2023 NZ South Island Championships Live Scores for Moonbase IX Twizel - 2023 NZ South Island Championships in Twizel, New Zealand on Friday, November 10th, 2023.

Congratulations to all the Divisional winners and podium placing players for Auckland Champs 2023.

In MPO we saw Jackson extend his lead with the wind only stopping his streak of > 1000 rated rounds.

MA1 after heading into the day tied for first Josh Pratt way managed to match the best round three score to get ahead by two strokes over Luke Hempel.

FA1 Charlotte Dunkley kept her lead through to the end.

MA40 James Sutton took home the masters trophy and the win for his division.

MA50 Ken Middeldorp shot higher rated rounds each round he played to win the division.

MA2 provided lots of close finishes with a playoff for first where Benjamin Upton bested Sam Cross for 1st, and a four-way tie for third

FA2 Maddieson White defended her lead from the 2nd round to claim first.
