I had to do at least SOME cookies for Christmas! This year has been far less sweet than intended but I’m still sneaking in a few baking sessions when I can. Pulled out my cutters for this quick Christmas cuties.

I’ve been slacking in the cookie department this year for sure, but sometimes you just need to take a step back and recharge. Lately I’ve been feeling the cookie mojo returning so I hope 2023 is a more “sweet” year for me. For now, I’m revisiting some of my older cookies and reminiscing. ❤️

Of course I was going to make cookies from this book! Illustrating The Perfect Cake was a super challenging but rewarding experience. I had to shake off the cobwebs and basically trust myself to draw again. In the end, I’m so happy to see Lil’ Yo come to life. In book form and now in cookies. 😝
