TEENAGE KICKS ends - to be replaced with a mid-weekly bass-music club night

It's the end of an era.

cheeseontoast.co.nz Teenage Kicks, the weekly "indie" club night held at Auckland's Cassette on Wednesday nights will have it's last ever night next Wednesday 3rd July. It's being replaced with a bass-music night.

Following an unsuccessful court battle against Huntly man ‘Big Dee’, Auckland-based disc jockey ‘Big D’ has been forced to change his moniker.

The DJ formerly known as ‘Big D’ will now go by what some have called “the worst DJ name in the country” - The Rasmus (DJ set).

The Rasmus (DJ set) will perform his first set under the alias tomorrow night at Teenage Kicks alongside and Badger Beats and more. Free entry.
