With Diwali coming up, I looked back at some photos from my first Diwali in Auckland many years ago

Flash back to about 1977. These photos were taken in England, probably using a Pentax 35mm SLR camera and Fuji slide film. It was and is quite unusual for me to photograph butterflies.

Met Daniel and Holly at Whitford Pony Club. Indie and Scout were best in their class and part of the 4th placed team

Looking forward to this on Monday evening. All are welcome. We are up by the railway in the furthest building from the road entrance to Corban's.

Some black and whites from my recent shoot with Rochi. I take RAW files and then choose when to display colour and when to display black and white. Sometimes I think this is too easy.
I was reminded of the days when I used film. I would often take 2 cameras out, one with colour slide film and one with black and white film. The photos were noticeably different. The film changed my mindset and there was no going back.
