Loving the Raglan vibe, just sussed out the The Yard Music Cafe & Bar Venue, lma gonna come back and put on a Loveray- gig here for sure...
-Loveray- jamming improv style at the Cosmic Cove at Dimension Festival last Friday, video by Elora Danan (Thank you!!) and capturing the magic moment that MiNOA jumped up on the mic and sang a few songs with us. Wowsa!!! First time busking on KRd in like 30 years or more. Last time i busked in town i got assaulted (punched) by and arrested by a plain clothes police officer and spent hours in the slammer when i was innocent of any crime. It was a pathetic cowardly act and his lady officer at his side knew it, but she toed his line.
a year later an anonymous witness had laid a police complaints authority investigation as they had laid a complaint as they were appauled at what they witnessed. The copper lied in court that he didnt punch me and it was my word against a cop and the judge declaired a copper wouldnt lie and so on it went.
No wonder I have a view of authority as corrupt as I do. That IS my experience, my reality.
So back to busking on KRD tonight. OMG it was AWESOME!!!
We had a huge crowd gather around us outside Buana Satu on the cnr of Pitt St and KRD. Thanks Hellen for having us in your frontage.
-Loveray- Rayna Love and Jeff Fisher teamed up with Michael Ferriss and Jeffrey Gain from Yet Undefined and we rocked the roof off the pavement. I had sooooo much fun and let rip!!!
We had a crowd for 3 hours solid and got massive compliments and it seemed there were always 20 phones pointing at us recording the event. We got good coin (well over $100) in the koha breifcase too. Always a great sign that it was received well by the crowds circling our setup.

I just checked a -Loveray- email account i dont often check and found a lot of mixcloud notifications that the uploads ive been posting have been topping the global charts for their themes / music style!!! some are ranking like 34th ... 32nd - i didnt bother recording those, but most are listing in the top 10!!! some hitting 1st and 2nd and 3rd in the GLOBAL charts. Fu***ng outstanding!!!

finally - getting the home studio in operation, its only taken 2 years procrastinating with too many guitars and big speakers in the way.
Getting ready for a lot of recording and remixing and mastering through winter.
absolutely cant wait to see what this baby can do...

I'm really thrilled with this recording project.
Its so morphing other worlds and though its audio, i find myself drifting into imaginary visual landscapes and outer space simulations in my mind.

Another Bootleg.. on Friday 24Jan2025 -Loveray- was geared up to play Bethells Cafe, but the weather forcast was S H I T so we semi - retreated to our party cave inland.
We created some more super gems and our flarour is rich in the moment.
Onto something for sure.
Turns out it was a purfect summers night.

*WEATHER POSTPONED AGAIN*
Rain and strong easterly winds mean we shifted date again!!!
This does mean we are going to create an even better event with more talent on the lineup and running all day Sat 29 Mar 2025 from Noon to 8pm.
