We are a simple question, "what can whisky be?" And we are the belief that it can be so much more.

How a coffee-stained whisky sample became the World's Best Flavoured Whisky.
WXC started by accident in 2021. A late morning sample of whisky got tasted in a glass that still had coffee in it. We joked it was delicious. A year later, we made it real with as a deliciois rough sketch.
A year of R+d followed with . Whisky world intrigued. Coffee world obsessed. Then the World Whisky Awards.
Scotland round -crowned categoy winner. surreal surprise. illegal?
World finals: World’s Best Flavoured Whisky. Insane.
We don’t really know what to say.
This is the story of two like minded companies in very different fields. Throw away the playbook and focus on flavour. Two communities. One idea: just make it delicious.
Massive shout out to who live true to their value; Collaboration is the route to creativity. WXC is the proof. Thanks to everyone involved along the way.

It takes a village.
Last week, Auckland's hosted us for an evening with the refreshed core range. Being hosted in NZ's most exciting new bar set a high bar for the tasting. Thanks JC — the hospitality was something else.
We couldn't be more excited to be partnering with the crew who know their whiskies and seem to know everyone who drinks whisky in NZ! (What else would you expect from a couple of whisky loving Scots?)
and hosted the night. We talked, sipped, highballed. No agenda. Just good conversation, tasty highballs and drams a plenty. Thanks Tash for your generosity and kindness!
Being in a room full of curious and passionate people, all connecting over whisky, reminds us what it's all about.

Whisky culture is global. Rooms like that remind us why.

Melbourne! If you're getting 'Australian launch' energy we are sorry. Not quite yet!
This is more of a “we were in town anyway…” situation.
Between distillery visits, a few not-very-secret meetings, and the stars aligning, we couldn’t resist the opportunity to open a few bottles for a first taste of Woven down under with the Whisky and Alement crew.
Join us ( + ) on Wednesday 18th at (where else) for Australia’s first taste of Woven. No fanfare. No ribbon cutting... Just a room full of folk and a few bottles that we won't be carrying home!
With a proper down under launch quietly taking shape, (no smoke without fire) consider this something of a pre-launch hello as we try to rustle up a few familiar faces from the Melbourne drinks scene (unofficially twinned with Edinburgh?)
As well as answering the question 'does Melbourne highball'? (Recommendations please) We will be talking all things our range, approach and plans for what's next.
Tickets from . Massive thanks legends for having us!
See you at the bar. 🥃🦘

Woven x Black Rock | London Highballs
This is Alex’s Floating Lantern highball:
Woven Whisky - Ginger Wine - Yuzu - Hibiscus & Heather Sparkling Tea
Founded by Thomas Aske and Tristan Stephenson, Black Rock aims to demystify whisky by organising its impressive collection by flavour rather than region or age - which is a move we can absolutely get behind.
You’ll also notice an 18-foot, 185-year-old oak tree trunk, split in half with channels filled with ageing whisky and cocktails, dispensed through taps at the table (with a delish Woven cocktail having made a recent feature).
Pay them a visit this LCW and see what other Woven highball specials they’re stirring up!

On Thursday, revealed their 15th annual list of Scotland's most influential cultural contributions of the year—and Woven made the cut! 🥃✨🤯
Though three of our collective are named, this recognition belongs to not just our entire team but also the wider community who make woven what it is. A heartfelt thanks to and for affirming our belief that whisky, reimagined, can have a meaningful place in Scotland's cultural landscape.
WXC
Whisky meets coffee.
After tasting Assembly’s single-origin El Vergel Guava Banana—roasted by Claire Wallace specifically to maximize its fruit-forward qualities (bright notes of pineapple and strawberry)—we knew we’d found the perfect collaborator. We then spent six months perfecting a proprietary blend of fruit-forward whiskies (Single Grain and Speyside Malts) that not only complemented the coffee but meaningfully interacted with it, creating new, exciting flavors for lovers of both profiles to discover.
The result? WXC. A spirit drink crafted from whisky infused with cold-brewed specialty coffee. It offers a distinctly whisky-led backbone, underpinned by tropical depth, juicy vibrancy, and a long, silky finish.
Whether served neat or in a cocktail, WXC bridges two worlds to deliver a completely new drinking experience. We can’t wait for you to try it.
