There is a way to get rid of spiritual emptiness!😊

In New Zealand, we are under more pressure in all aspects, but we still choose to face it positively and calmly. We will do our best to enjoy life better. We will be responsible for our work. We treat everyone around us with kindness and hope to bring them more happiness. However, when we are alone and quiet, we may often feel inexplicably empty, helpless, depressed, and painful. Although we have many relatives and friends around us, we only want to bring them happiness and won't share with them our inner pain so as not to give them more pressure, and the pain of emptiness is only for us to bear. In order to relieve our inner pressure and pain, we travel to various places, do different kinds of sports, join entertainment activities, and go shopping... As it's a way to fill the needs of our souls. However, it seems that these can't let us out of the feeling of emptiness from the root. Many times we wonder why we feel empty and miserable deep inside even though we have an abundant material life. How can we get rid of the emptiness and get real freedom from our hearts?

I remembered that the Lord Jesus said, "Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God." (Matthew 4:4)
God says, “When one does not have God, when one cannot see Him, when one cannot clearly recognize God’s sovereignty, every day is meaningless, worthless, miserable. Wherever one is, whatever one’s job is, one’s means of living and the pursuit of one’s goals bring one nothing but endless heartbreak and suffering without relief, such that one cannot bear to look back on one’s past. Only when one accepts the Creator’s sovereignty, submits to His orchestrations and arrangements, and seeks true human life will one gradually begin to break free from all heartbreak and suffering, and to be rid of all the emptiness of life.”

Rely on God in trouble and you will surely see God's deeds!

Recently we have received some letters from friends who are experiencing difficulties and problems, some are struggling for their livelihood because they lost their jobs, some are living in worry because of illness, and some are at the end of their wits for educating their children. Then how should we experience these circumstances?

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. (Psalm 46:1)
God says, “When you(s) have faith that you will see His actions in your practical experience, then God will appear to you(s), and He will enlighten and guide you(s) from within. Without that faith, God will be unable to do that. If you(s) have lost hope in God, how will you(s) be able to experience His work? Therefore, only when you(s) have faith and you do not harbor doubts toward God, only when you have true faith in Him no matter what He does, will He enlighten and illuminate you(s) through your experiences, and only then will you(s) be able to see His actions...”
From God's word, we can see that God fulfills man's faith through sufferings. Just like Moses, who shepherded sheep in the wilderness for forty years, he relied on God to experience it, and he came to know God's sovereignty, and the flesh of blood in him was worn out. The more important is that he had real faith in God, so that he could later take on the great responsibility of leading the Israelites out of Egypt. Likewise, as long as we have faith in God, tell God our pains and difficulties, God will enlighten us. He will let us understand His will and plan for us, lead us out of our difficulties and let us see His wonderful deeds.

😊Have you drawn close to God today?
🌹If you as a father have many children, and you expect them to have some intimate conversation with you, but they always hide from you, often ignore you, do not want to have a deep conversation with you, and do not ask your advice in making decisions, will you feel lonely and sad? Aren't we acting the same way, often rejecting God out of our lives? Although we believe in Him, we are busy most of our life. We often neglect God in order to have a better material life, and seldom come before Him to get closer to Him. In fact, if we draw near to God, we will bring God comfort, and become a person pleasing to Him. Besides, if we draw near to God, God will surely respond to us, and many difficulties that make us distressed and helpless can be solved by drawing near to Him. As it is written in the Bible, John and Andrew's lives were changed because they drew near to the Lord, they were joyful in preaching the gospel to their brothers. (John 1:35-42) Zacchaeus drew close to the Lord, his thoughts were renewed, and he was generous in helping the poor and compensating those he had wronged. (Luke 19:1-10) The prayer of the woman in Canaan was answered by the Lord, because she was close to Him and her daughter was saved. (Matthew 15:21-28) These all show the importance of drawing near to God. If a person isn't willing to draw near to the Lord, he won't be able to achieve accord with God's will, and won't easily obtain help and strength from the Lord.
“But it is good for me to draw near to God. I have put my trust in the Lord God, that I may declare all Thy works.”(Psalm 73:28) “Draw nigh to God, and He will draw nigh to you.”(James 4:8) Have you drawn close to God today?
