अगस्त्यश्च पुलस्त्यश्च वैशम्पायन एव च ।
सुमन्तुजैमिनिश्चैव पञ्चैते वज्रवारका: ॥१॥

मुने: कल्याणमित्रस्य जैमिनेश्चापि कीर्तनात् ।
विद्युदग्निभयं नास्ति लिखितं गृहमण्डल ॥२॥

अनन्तो वासुकि: पद्मो महापद्ममश्च तक्षक: ।
कुलीर: कर्कट: शङ्खश्चाष्टौ नागा: प्रकीर्तिता: ॥३॥

यत्राहिशायी भगवान् यत्रास्ते हरिरीश्वर: ।
भङ्गो भवति वज्रस्य तत्र शूलस्य का कथा ॥४॥

॥ इति श्रीनागस्तोत्रम् सम्पूर्णम् ॥

छुपु र छुपु धान नै रोपौँ हातैको बर्माले,
झ्यालमा बस्ने ज्यान थियो मेरो दिएन कर्मले…..।
पुर्वकी दिदी, पश्चिमकी बहिनी भेट हुन्छ भनेर,
पटुकी कसी, घुम ओढी आएँ रोपार बनेर…….।

धान दिवस विभिन्न प्रकारले मनाउने गरिन्छ। सरकारले सरकारी तवरबाट यो दिवसलाई मनाउ छ भने ग्रामिण भेगमा किसानहरूले आफ्नै तवरले मनाउछन् । असार १५ का दिन एक फेर हिलो टेक्नु भन्ने मान्यता छ । यस दिन रोपाइलाई पर्वको रूपमा मनाइने हुँदा खेतको हिलामा पसेर असारे गीत गाउँदै धान रोप्ने गरिन्छ। हलगोरुले हिल्याएको हिलोमा छुपुछुपु धान रोपेर आपसमा रमाउँदै रोपाहार र बाउसेहरु एकापसमा हिलो छ्यापाछ्याप गरी हिलो खेलेर अन्न दिने माटोलाई माया गर्छन् र गीतका भाकामार्फत् आपसमा माया पिरती समेत साट्ने गर्छन। खेतमा रोपाई गरी दही, चिउरा खाने भएकाले यस दिनलाई दही चिउरा खाने दिनका रूपमा समेत लिने गरिन्छ।
