Winter Project

We donate hand knitted warmers like caps, neck warmers, blanket, socks. We also visit children homes with Books for Children [ suitable for age six to seventeen] and educational materials along with other giveaways which is useful to children. This project has been on the floor since 2012, however; it got its continuation since 2015 only. There was lapse in the year 2013 -14. Every year, we cover 200 children living in Children Homes. In general, we cover about seven to nice children Homes a year, but; there are times the number may reach ten also. It's not how many children homes we cover but we should cover 200 children each year for our project. This work is made possible with the help of all those people who have willing hearts to donate and see who gets it and where its going what they gave. Facebook friends have been requested to join this effort to pass- it-on-the-good-acts. Thanks to all the people who respond to my request to help me carry out this small charity work. We would like to reach more children with more handmade goodies and other giveaways. Its a small effort to put smile or at times; tear of joy on their face just like Oprah or Ellen have been doing over the year touching many lives. Our work must make a children happy and give them a good memory for a lifetime. At winter project we not just make things but we also train interested women to knit. When they make a product we donate it in children homes. When we are donating blankets we do accept donations for blankets as well as ready made blankets or squares from knitters around the world.
