अहिले स्तरोन्नतिको काम अन्तिम चरणमा पुगेको छ । मङ्सिर १ देखि सुरु हुन लागेको नेपाल प्रिमियर लिग (एनपिएल) को खेलका लागि निर्माण कार्य सम्पन्न भइसक्ने नेपाल क्रिकेट सङ्घ (क्यान) ले जनाएको छ ।

Nepali Army celebrated its 262nd Army Day by organizing a special ceremony on Wednesday at Tundikhel on the day of Maha Shivaratri likewise in previous years.

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, leading a delegation, has embarked on a four-day official visit to neighboring China. This visit is at the formal invitation of Chinese Premier Li Qiang. This is Prime Minister Oli's first official visit to China during his current term. He departed from Tribhuvan International Airport on a chartered Himalayan Airlines flight at 11 AM on Monday, as reported by the Prime Minister's Office.

Before the visit, the Cabinet meeting extended its best wishes for the success of the visit. The meeting also decided to accept projects worth 20 million USD in grants from China, as informed by Minister for Communication and Information Technology, Prithvi S***a Gurung.

This morning, the Chhath festival was concluded by offering arghya to the rising sun. The main day of the festival, which is celebrated from Kartik Shukla Chaturthi to Saptami, involved offering arghya to the setting sun on Thursday with worship rituals.

Devotees who had offered arghya to the setting sun from the banks of rivers, lakes, ponds, and streams the previous day stayed awake all night and offered arghya to the rising sun this morning.

दसैँको पहिलो दिन वैदिक विधिपूर्वक द्वीप, गणेश र कलशको पूजा गरी जौको, मकै, धानको जमरा राख्ने गरिन्छ । यसरी विधिपूर्वक स्थापना गरिएको घडामाथि शक्ति स्वरुप दुर्गा भगवतीको पूजा आराधना गरिने भएकाले त्यस दिनलाई घटस्थापना पनि भन्ने गरिएको हो । घटस्थापनाको दिन रोपिएको जमरालाई विजया दशमीको दिन शक्तिकी देवी दुर्गा भगवतीको प्रसादको रूपमा ग्रहण गर्ने गरिन्छ ।
