The production capacity of the factory is 150,000 tons. It is currently producing 70 tons only due to shortage of quality tea leaves.Major Exports are Germany and Kolkatta. Gorkha Tea Estate is located 1700 above sea level and 30 hectare land belongs to GTE and rest to farmers.
