The 5-5-15 Breathing is another powerful Kundalini Yoga breathwork technique that focuses on controlling your breath to calm the mind and energize your body.
In Kundalini Yoga, the 5-5-15 Breath is a transformative technique that helps balance your energy, reduce stress, and increase focus. It’s perfect for calming the mind while giving your body a refreshing burst of energy, but also gives you a feeling of total rest.
How to Do It:
1. ���Sit comfortably with a straight spine and your hands resting on your knees or in a comfortable mudra.
2. ���Inhale deeply through your nose for 5 counts.
3. ���Exhale slowly out for 5 counts
4. Hold your breath on the exhale for 15 counts.
5. Repeat as long as you like.
This is a perfect way to calm your mind and activate the parasympathetic nervous system.
Do this whenever you feel stressed out or simply need som clarity.
Also perfect to do before you go to sleep. You can do this whereever, whenever. Also lying down in bed.
