We are proud to announce that Axess AS is now accredited to NS-EN ISO/IEC 17020:2012 by Norwegian Accreditation (Accreditation No. INSP 078) for a period of five years, with Axess Asset Integrity AS as the performing unit.

The entity operates as a type C inspection body for non-destructive testing of objects and installations – new, used, and in service:

• RT – Radiographic testing, film and digital (ISO 17636-1/-2, ISO 10675-1/-2)
• UT – Ultrasonic testing (ISO 17640, ISO 22825, ISO 23279, ISO 11666)
• PAUT – Phased array ultrasonic testing (ISO 13588, ISO 19285, ISO 20601, ISO 4761)
• MT – Magnetic particle testing (ISO 17638, ISO 23278)
• PT – Penetrant testing (ISO 3452-1, ISO 23277)
• VT – Visual testing (ISO 17637)
• ET – Eddy current testing, including pulsed eddy current of ferromagnetic components (ISO 17643, ISO 20669)
• Vacuum box testing (ASME BPVC Section V)

The scope also covers inspection of metallic objects – new, used, in service and rebuilt – to NORSOK M-101 (structural steel fabrication) and NORSOK M-601 (welding and inspection of piping).

This accreditation strengthens the inspection capability available to our clients across the Group.

Axess Technologies replaced all 54 jacking gear pinions on Seadrill's jack-up rig, West Elara, located in the North Sea. The project required custom engineered lifting solutions and was delivered safely within the tight schedule under challenging offshore conditions.
