Love it when long term papers come out!
This looked at people over 3 years.
Myopia is on the rise. With the increased crappy lighting, more screen time and limited outdoor time, eye health is suffering.
Can red light help?
It seems to be helpful and just as importantly it seems to be safe after 3 years!
If eye health is something that you wish help with, especially for myopia perhaps it's time for you to think about red light therapy.
As always do your own research and buy from trusted sellers who have tested their equipment.

Still working at it 5 years later!
You are never late to the "light party" - it starts when you do and the key is to learn.
I'm still learning and adapting 5 years later. Anyone that says they have all the answers is lying. Just try to improve on last year. Understand that light is information, it is activation energy, it is signal. More than anything, it is essential for health.
Still the most trusted Light therapy source in Norway and thank you for creating my best start to a year ever!
Is it crazy to sunbathe in Drammen, Norway in January?
Most will say when it's -12 that you have to be crazy to sunbathe.
I know my body, I know the research and for me it's the opposite of crazy. It's smart, helps improve my function, reduce inflammation and create and more resilient, more coherent function during the Norwegian winter when many people are light deficient.
I'm not asking you to sunbathe outside - know your limits. Being afraid of the cold isn't the answer either.
Cold is a signal for your body to switch on certain things and down regulate other things, but use it wisely.
Illness, sickness and your winter charge.
Why does your charge collapse in winter and what you can do to maintain your health.
Remember that your light environment matters in your skin as well as your eyes.

Take a moment to help yourself and save some money on supplements when perhaps all you need to do is fix your light environment.
Whilst in vitro studies are strong, in vivo aren't quite as strong yet, but the mechanism of action is there and its better to be safe than sorry - especially when it comes to eyes!
What is your lighting doing to your health - is it photodegrading your b12? Is it damaging other areas through excess oxidative stress.

Every aspect of your function runs on the information and/or energy given to you by light.

There are enough studies to show just how harsh modern street lighting is crippling your health.
It's not just your internal lighting you need to think about, it's your external as well. Those street lamps that are more "energy efficient" are also causing you problems.
Sleep problems, sleep latency problems and health problems. Associated with increased cancer rates, metabolic disorders and increased mental health issues.

Luckily you can just get a good pair of curtains and block those out.
However it is just one in a long line of "energy efficient" but biologically awful adaptations in the last few decades.
