What better way to close out last week than with two days at GS1 Nordic Summit in Oslo! The most consistent message across both days, from regulators, brands, and operators alike, wasn’t about meeting the deadline. It was about what becomes possible after you meet it.
A few common threads worth sharing:
🌍 The regulatory scope is bigger than most people realise. GS1 Sweden walked through the European Commission’s roadmap: harmonised standards landing end of May, textiles 2027, every physical product in the EU by 2030.
💡 Compliance is the floor, not the ceiling. Across the brand sessions, the same realisation kept surfacing. The companies investing in DPPs now aren’t doing it for the deadline. They’re doing it because structured product data, once it exists, unlocks new business models.
♻️ Circular economy needs infrastructure, not ambition. As LUGA put it during their session: “Circular economy doesn’t move forward on ambition alone. It needs infrastructure.” The question now isn’t whether circularity can scale; it’s how fast the data infrastructure keeps up.
Thank you to GS1 Norway and everyone we collaborated with and connected with on stage and on the floor!

You’re being asked to prepare for Digital Product Passports, but your product data isn’t in one place (and it never has been).
Across textiles, the same questions keep coming up: How do you get usable data from smaller suppliers and how do you avoid solutions that only work for the biggest players?

PERFORMANCE DAYS recap ⚙️🌍 Two days in Munich made one thing clear: circularity is ready to scale — and data is the key that unlocks it.
Recycling tech is here, and most products could be recycled today. The real challenge isn’t the technology, but the data that connects everything: materials, chemistry, traceability, and the infrastructure behind it. RFID, woven QR, visual AI — the solution matters less than the ecosystem it connects to.
Our biggest takeaway? From conversations with Textile Exchange, Project Plan B, EOG and many others, the message was consistent: circularity becomes possible when data becomes usable. Not more complex — just more connected.
And as always, the highlight was the community: open, collaborative, curious, and genuinely committed to moving the industry forward. 🙌

Proud and humbled — Repass was selected as one of the TECHARENA 2026 TOP46 startups 🚀
Being chosen to pitch at TechArena in Stockholm was a huge milestone for us — and an inspiring few days with founders, investors and leaders from across the Nordics.
Our CEO shared one clear takeaway: technology only matters when data connects to a real business problem.
The path forward is becoming clear: shared, flexible infrastructure where data flows across entire ecosystems, not just within individual companies. Transparency as an advantage — not a reporting task.
We are grateful for the recognition, the conversations and the opportunity to pitch among such strong talent. Sweden, you treated us well💙

Repass x Yama: Digital Product Passports
What if product transparency lived where it matters most — inside the garment? Together with Yama, we launched a brand‑native Digital Product Passport layer that turns product data into action: care guidance, repair, material insights, and a consistent digital identity across every channel.
A framework for seasonless circularity that educates, supports, and connects — at a scan.

Huge thanks to Innovation Norway for the warm interview with our CEO and for highlighting strong female leaders on International Women’s Day 👏
This year’s theme, “Du starter ikke for deg selv”, hits home for us. Our CEO, Sara M. Rakstang, was selected as one of three role models nationwide, sharing both her own journey and the community that has built Repass — from co‑founders and team to investors, customers and supporters in Innlandet. The story reflects what we experience every day: Repass is the result of many people pushing in the same direction.
Thank you to everyone who makes this journey possible💙
We were proud to join Agenda Innlandet 2026, where business, politics and academia came together around one question: how Innlandet can stay strong in a rapidly changing world🌍
In her video, our CEO Sara M. Rakstang shared how transparency and traceability have moved from compliance to a roadmap for industrial resilience — and why Repass is building a cross‑industry solution that gives sectors from food to defense the same data‑driven insight. She also highlighted how a company rooted in Innlandet can work globally while growing local value.
From food to defense, from wood to textiles, batteries and metals — we’re open for dialogue with anyone who wants to build the value chains of tomorrow in Innlandet🤝🏼
