This was such a fun evening to be part of! ๐ซ Last Friday was 'Kunst om te proeven', an event organised by . A full circle experience, where you could view the art of 4 artists and eat a dish inspired by their work. ๐ฝ
Next to my work were also the works of .jpg, and .nl. My work was the inspiration for the main course which was all about texture!
Thank you for the lovely evening, and thanks to and for the amazing food ๐งก
For this event I made 8 new larger sized works that are now available at the gallery. If you're interested to know more, please contact the gallery or me! ๐ฅฐ

These new pieces left my studio last week to head to for a really fun event this Friday June 5th! โจ๏ธ Join a dinner that's not just tasty, but also triggering your visual senses. Each dish will be a beautiful artwork itself, inspired by four different artists (including me!). ๐ You can of course also view all our work during the dinner!
Love some of the new pieces, especially the ones where I worked with a gradient in color. Last time I worked with gradients was maybe three years ago? Love experimenting with it and love these results! ๐งก
All works are available, so if you're interested feel free to contact me or the gallery for more info. ๐
Happy to announce that I made 8 new original textile works which will be available soon! โจ๏ธ I'm especially in love with this huuuuge piece in a calming darker color palette.
Next week, on Friday 5 June, is the first chance to see the new pieces during a lovely dinner, organised by . During this dinner you'll eat four courses, each inspired by a different artist, including me! ๐ฝ
If you'd like to join the dinner for an inspiring evening (or if you're interested in the works) please contact the gallery ๐
Thank you for the video! ๐ฅ

Custom cutie with all the right details; popping color palette, high pile line work and deep dark blue ๐ a big size is not needed to make an impact!

What to do with a wall that's more than 6 meters high? Hang a custom made artwork of course! ๐ค swipe to see them installed ๐
Working on this project was a dream, and everything came togetger so nicely. From the bright and cheerful color palette, to the perfectly matched frames made by . ๐ซ
Working on this size was also such a nice variation from what I'm used to, with 230 x 70 cm being way taller than me, which was quite a challenge to handle sometimes ๐ฅด
Looking forward to work on more custom projects like these soon! I still have some space for a few new custom projects for this summer, so get in touch if you're interested ๐
Finally all wrapped up! This project has been my main focus for the past two months. One of my biggest projects so far, and making something that's literally taller than me is kind of surreal ๐ฅน I'm really happy to share them with you, from the process all the way to the end result!
It's always a little sad to let go and say goodbye to something I worked so long on, but yesterday I received some photos of them hung in their new home and that really makes it all worth it. ๐ซถ
A special edge (literally) to this project are the frames crafted by , which really make the works pop. โจ
2 works of 230 x 70 cm, handtufted in my studio in Utrecht, in 100% wool, framed in oak.

These two were a joy to work on! Made for a friend with a really fun interior. ๐๐งก In this case, being able to match the colors of the works to fit their new home made the result so good. Also, the first pieces where I used this new green that I now have in my pallette. Looking forward to pairing it with pink ๐
Handtufted in 100% wool, 75 x 75 cm.

A small custom piece with a fun twist! This one was made for the office of a general practitioner! Guess the ๐ฉบ makes sense, right? ๐
I've been able to work on many custom pieces recently, and wether they're big or small, I love the personal stories I get to tell through my work. ๐ซถ
50 x 70 cm, handtufted in 100% wool.
When I finish all pieces on the frame, I always plan it so I can glue them at them end of the day. That way I don't have to sit in glue fumes and I can let the glue dry overnight. ๐
Then when I get into the studio the next morning, it's always a fun start; I get to cut all pieces off of the frame! Somehow it's one of my favorite steps in the process ๐คญ
This clip is from a couple of weeks ago, loved how this frame looked all together ๐งก

This was a really fun commission for a customer in Switzerland! ๐จ๐ญโจ๏ธ I've been working in a lot of yellow/orange/red hues lately, so this was a really fun design to change it up for a bit. Love how the bleached white yarn makes the colors pop ๐
It's still pretty crazy to think that my works get to travel all over the world and that this one is now in Switzerland. Thank you all for showing so much interest in my work even though you're far from the Netherlands ๐ซถ
Want to have your own custom piece? I've shipped as far as Australia, so send me a message from wherever you're located, I'd love to do a custom project for you! ๐ฅฐ
