Sometimes we become attached to our opinions and believe our way is the only correct way.

But other people may have experiences, knowledge, or perspectives that we don’t have. Being willing to listen and learn doesn’t make you weak—it makes you wiser.

Heavenly Father,

we come before You with heavy hearts as we see conflict, division, hatred, and war around the world. We ask You to bring peace where there is violence, unity where there is division, and understanding where there is hatred.

Lord, protect innocent families, children, the elderly, and all those caught in the midst of conflict. Comfort those who have lost loved ones, homes, and hope. Give strength to those who are afraid and courage to those working for peace.

Touch the hearts of leaders and those who have the power to make decisions. Give them wisdom, humility, and compassion. Turn away hearts from revenge and destruction, and guide them toward dialogue, forgiveness, justice, and reconciliation.

May nations choose peace over war, cooperation over division, and love over hatred. Heal the wounds created by conflict and restore communities that have been broken apart.

“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called children of God.” — Matthew 5:9

Lord, let Your peace begin in our hearts, our families, our communities, and spread throughout the world.

When you choose to pray for someone despite what they have done to you, it shows that you are choosing healing over hatred and forgiveness over revenge.

Lord, I don't want to limit You to what I can imagine. Bring into my life what I could never have planned for myself.

Sometimes God's answer may look different from what we expected—but later we realize that His way was better.

“Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”

“Lord, I surrender my plans to You. If what I desire is good for me, let it come in Your timing. If it isn't, give me the grace to release it. Lead me somewhere better than I could have imagined. Surprise me with Your goodness.”
