How do we at Monolith differ from other companies? We are CRAZY about growth - both our personal growth and helping to grow others. And of course growth can not be sustainable if you do not measure and evaluate. We go as far as saying if you cannot measure something, you cannot manage it. When you do your work with full passion these work ideas also come into your personal life. So some of us started to measure, track and improve our personal performance. This is how we do it. It can be useful for you too if you are looking for a structured way to reach your personal goals.
The idea is that in order to reach your goal you have to have energy and focus for that. In order to sustain it you have to eat healthy, move physically and exercise your mind as well. Therefore measurements like body weight, running, exercising in gym, as well as meditation and writing are included.
All measurements are gathered weekly. Substance is physical weight of body. Power is calculated by gym visiting goal which is 4 times a week. Endurance is kilometres of running. Mind is number of days in which we found time for meditation too. Literacy is amount of words written. Focus is achievement of KPI’s. Altogether it creates % of reached Purpose.
