π¨π΄ MANCHESTER UNITED TRANSFER ROUND-UP
𧀠Andre Onana is in talks over a permanent move to Trabzonspor, while veteran goalkeeper Tom Heaton has signed a new one-year contract at Old Trafford.
π― United remain interested in several midfield targets, including Mateus Fernandes, Sandro Tonali, AurΓ©lien TchouamΓ©ni and Alex Scott. West Ham are demanding Β£80m for Fernandes, while Liverpool have reportedly moved ahead of United in the race for Scott.
β½ Brentford striker Igor Thiago has emerged as a potential target should Joshua Zirkzee leave, while talks have reportedly been held with the representatives of free-agent striker DuΕ‘an VlahoviΔ.
π United are also monitoring Bournemouth youngster Eli Junior Kroupi, although the Cherries have no intention of selling him this summer. AC Milan star Rafael LeΓ£o has meanwhile admitted he would welcome a move to the Premier League.
π Elsewhere, Everton are leading the race for Hayden Hackney, Manchester City have seen a bid for Elliot Anderson rejected by Nottingham Forest, and Arsenal are reportedly ahead of United in the battle to sign Leicester wonderkid Jeremy Monga.
π On the outgoing front, Marcus Rashford remains keen on a permanent move to Barcelona, although the Spanish club are reluctant to meet United's asking price. Manuel Ugarte is attracting interest from Crystal Palace and Everton, with United expected to demand around Β£25m.
β United recruitment director Christoph Vivell is reportedly leading the club's pursuit of Real Madrid midfielder TchouamΓ©ni, while CEO Omar Berrada has hinted that last summer's successful transfer strategy will continue.

π¨ MY MANCHESTER UNITED DEFENDER VERDICT π¨
I've seen suggestions that United should sell Lisandro MartΓnez and Matthijs de Ligt this summer.
Absolutely not.
β
KEEP:
β’ Harry Maguire
β’ Lisandro MartΓnez
β’ Matthijs de Ligt
β’ Leny Yoro
β’ Ayden Heaven
β’ Patrick Dorgu
β’ Diogo Dalot
β’ Luke Shaw
β’ Noussair Mazraoui
Selling quality defenders because of injuries would be a huge mistake. With Champions League football returning, squad depth will be more important than ever.
MartΓnez brings leadership and quality on the ball.
De Ligt is only 26 and was excellent before injury.
Yoro is a future world-class defender.
Heaven and Dorgu look like stars in the making.
If United are serious about competing next season, midfield should be the priorityβnot breaking up the defence.
π΄ What's your verdict? Which defender would you sell, if any?

Manchester United are reportedly keeping a close eye on Aston Villa star Morgan Rogers.
Michael Carrick and Jason Wilcox are said to have strong relationships with the player and are admirers of his talent.
However, with several key positions still needing reinforcement this summer, it remains to be seen whether United have the financial resources to make a move for the highly-rated England international.
