Why Wear a Good Fragrance?

Yesterday, on my way back from church, something small but powerful happened. I entered a bus, and the moment I stepped inside, I felt it. Warmth. Comfort. Familiarity. It was like walking into a place I already knew, like stepping into peace itself.

I kept asking myself, what is this feeling? Why does it feel so good in here? And then I realized, it was the Fragrance. The bus driver was wearing a Beautiful and Familiar scent. I kept trying to place it, to remember where I’d perceive it before. And before I got down, I asked him, ā€œSir, please, what fragrance are you wearing?ā€

He smiled and said, ā€œSugar Baby and Dior Jadore.ā€

And instantly, it all made sense. That’s why the bus felt like home. That’s why I felt at ease. Because one man, a bus driver, decided not to pollute the air but to make it sweet. He decided that the people who would sit in his bus deserved to breathe in something good.

And that struck me deeply. Because how many times do we enter a bus, or even walk into spaces, and instead of being welcomed with freshness, we’re hit with body odor sometimes from the passengers, sometimes even from the driver himself? But this one, this man, chose differently. And it changed everything.

Listen, I share this to remind you: before you step out tomorrow, wear a fragrance. Don’t choke people with unpleasant smells when you pass by. Don’t just dress well and forget that Scent speaks louder than words. Let someone stop you and ask, ā€œExcuse me, what perfume are you wearing?ā€ Let your fragrance announce you before you even say a word.

And if you don’t have one yet, I’ve got you. I sell Quality Undiluted Perfume Oil... that same Sugar Baby and Dior Jadore, I have it. Other amazing scents? I have them too! Because I want you to carry that same aura of warmth, peace, and familiarity everywhere you go.

So tomorrow don’t just step out.
Step out in Style. Step out with Fragrance. Step out leaving a memory behind...

Retaliation? Is it okay?

Yesterday, on my way back from church, something happened that really struck me. I was in a keke, and as we were about to move out, a bus suddenly drove right in front of us. He wasn’t in a hurry, he wasn’t even driving properly...he was sluggish, almost careless, blocking the road. At some point, it even seemed like he was distracted, maybe pressing his phone or counting money, I don’t know.

Because of him, another keke ahead of us couldn’t move, and of course, mine too had to stop. After several minutes of waiting and people shouting, the bus driver finally decided to turn but still so slowly, leaving no space for anyone else to pass. Out of frustration, my keke driver reversed a little, and in anger, he slammed his hand hard on the back of the bus before trying to drive off.

And that was when things took a dangerous turn. The bus driver, instead of just letting things go, tried to drive into our keke. Imagine that forgetting that my keke driver wasn’t alone. There were passengers inside. I was sitting at the side, and a lady was in front. If he had truly driven into us, it was me and that lady who would have been injured and not even my keke driver.

That moment taught me something so profound. Many times in life, when someone offends us or hurts us, sometimes our first instinct is retaliation. But in trying to hurt them back, we often end up hurting innocent people around them, people who have nothing to do with the offense. That’s the danger of anger. That’s the danger of Retaliation.

The bus driver was clearly wrong. He created the whole problem. But when my keke driver reacted in anger(which wasn't okay too), it provoked an even worse reaction that could have harmed others. And isn’t that how life sometimes works? Someone does us wrong, and in the heat of the moment, instead of handling it wisely, we strike back and in striking back, we hurt not only them, but everyone else connected to them.

It reminded me that retaliation never heals; it only spreads pain.
