Ha! Let me breathe a little before I proceed with today’s gist.🙂‍↔️

Have you ever heard the saying, “You are who you are when no one is watching”?

You see, some people are so good at hiding the real version of themselves that when it finally slips out, you will struggle to believe it’s truly them.

Remember this: you can be very kind, loyal, resourceful, prophetic, etc., and still be cold on the inside where you may still be struggling with anger, trauma, pain, resentment, or the need to control others. And as long as you can cloak it well enough so the world does not see the real you, then all is well… right?

But when I counsel people, I always remind them to let go of pretence and unnecessary facades. Only then, can you begin to truly cultivate and grow the fruits of the Spirit. Because that is who you are underneath the spiritual gifts you may wield so effortlessly.

And, may God give you discerning eyes and a discerning heart to see the real person, in a person.

Dear Gorgeous, How are you?

Have you ever felt like you would love to answer God but "not yet" ? Probably because you're not good enough or wise enough or buoyant enough, or equipped enough etc?

If your answer is yes, and you've always felt "not enough" or "not quite ready", then today's newsletter is for you. To remind you that God is not looking for perfection. Need i add, He might be the only Boss who allows you to "learn on the job, or learn as you go."😂

When God told Gideon, in Judges 6:14 NKJV “Go in this might of yours..., Gideon didn’t feel strong. In fact, he felt small, unqualified, and uncertain and was always doubting himself. Yet, God wasn’t pointing to Gideon’s strength, He was calling out the strength within him that he couldn’t see.

Sometimes, we wait to feel ready before stepping into what God has called us to do. We wait for more confidence, more clarity, or more resources. But God doesn’t wait for perfection, He works through availability.
“Go in this might of yours” means using what you already have, no matter how small it seems. It’s trusting that the little strength, faith, and courage you hold is enough when God is with you.

💡 This week, remember:
You already have what it takes. God is not asking for more strength, He’s asking for your obedience.
📌 This week, I think you should:
Take that step. Apply for it. Start it. Speak it. Do it afraid if you must, but do it anyway. God’s power meets you in motion.

You are stronger than you think. Don't worry. Just say yes to Jesus today. And Learn as you go!

WHAT IS YOUR NAME?
Gorgeous,
One of the most sacred things God placed on your tag is your name.
He never treated names casually in Scripture.
Names carried assignment, prophecy, story, and destiny.
So today, pause and ask yourself:

What is your name?
Not just the name people call you…
but the name Heaven recognises when you breathe.

What does your name mean?
What story does it carry?
What identity does it tie you to?
And does it align with the woman God created you to be?

Some of us were named from joy.
Some were named from pain.
Some were named in confusion.
Yet Heaven still has a name for us; a name written on the original tag God crafted.

Just like Gideon, whose earthly name meant “one who cuts down” and whose heavenly tag said Mighty Man of Valour, you too carry a name that Heaven whispers over you.

So look again at your identity through God’s eyes.
What name does God call you?
What name rests on your tag?
