Keke Napep Set Ablaze at Zololo Junction in Jos North

A tricycle popularly known as Keke Napep was set on fire at Zololo Junction in Jos North following the arrest of suspected phone snatchers by residents and security personnel.

According to reports from the scene, the suspects were allegedly operating with the tricycle when they were intercepted while attempting to carry out a phone theft operation. They were later handed over to security operatives for further investigation.

Following the incident, some angry residents reportedly set the Keke Napep ablaze, leaving it completely destrøyed.

A witness at the scene warned that residents would continue to resist criminal activities in the area, urging those involved in theft and street crimes to stay away.

The incident has attracted attention among residents, with many calling for stronger security measures to address rising cases of phone snatching and other street-related crimes in Jos metropolis
