Bishops Corner
A Teacher | Prophet | An Administrator | Father | Mentor
Many Evangelical Christians are repeating the phrase "I didn't vote for this"
I left MAGA rant Update.
The verse is from Deuteronomy 29:29.
In Hebrew, the phrase “the secret things” is:
> הַנִּסְתָּרֹת
ha-nistarot
Root Word
It comes from the Hebrew root:
> סָתַר (satar)
meaning:
to hide
to conceal
to keep secret
to cover
Breakdown
הַ (ha) = “the”
נִּסְתָּרֹת (nistarot) = “hidden things” or “concealed things”
So the phrase literally means:
> “The hidden/concealed things belong to YHWH our God.”
Deeper Meaning
The word does not mainly mean mystical secrets only. It refers to:
things concealed from human understanding
God’s hidden judgments
unrevealed knowledge
mysteries not yet disclosed
matters beyond human authority
The second half contrasts this with:
> וְהַנִּגְלֹת (veha-niglot)
“but the revealed things…”
This comes from the root:
> גָּלָה (galah)
meaning “to uncover,” “to reveal,” or “make known.”
So the verse creates a contrast:
Hebrew Meaning
הַנִּסְתָּרֹת (ha-nistarot) hidden/concealed things
הַנִּגְלֹת (ha-niglot) revealed/uncovered things
The idea is that some matters remain within God’s authority, while what He has revealed is given so that His people may obey His instructions.
You can only inherit what is revealed not what is not revealed.

“Did Paul Really Hand Men Over to Satan?”
PASTOR KEEPING IT REAL ABOUT HOW WOMEN DRESS TO AND OUT OF CHURCH TODAY AND THE BATTLE IT CREATES FOR MEN.
*Pastor Loran Livingston with Central Church in Charlotte, NC*
Pastor Livingston is calling out the Trump Bible now and rightly so. We don’t need to politicize God’s holy Word.
This bishop (and I use that word very lightly) got only one thing right in her speech, and that is when she said “I’m about to say something very dangerous”. I hope she realizes her opinion doesn’t matter to a holy God.
A powerful message calling for truth, integrity, and boldness behind the pulpit. In a time when compromise is common, this sermon challenges preachers to stand firm, live holy, and preach the Word without fear or apology.
