Good design doesn’t just show the final result, it communicates every step.
I designed these interaction states to make the experience feel clear and intentional:
⏳ While processing
✅ When completed
⚠️ When something goes wrong
Because users shouldn’t have to guess what’s happening
Prototype view of Same process>>> Different experience👩💻✅

On the left: a typical waiting state, just a spinner and a vague message.
Users don’t know:
• What’s happening
• How long it will take
• Whether the system is working
On the right: the same process, but with clear steps and progress visibility.
Small changes like this can:
✔ Reduce anxiety
✔ Build trust
✔ Increase completion rates

When something fails and the system says nothing meaningful, users don’t “try again.”
They leave.
Failure states are product moments.
If you don’t design recovery, you’re designing churn.

Humans can tolerate effort.
What we struggle with is uncertainty🤔
During KYC, users are asked for sensitive information:
ID numbers.
Selfies.
Personal data.
If the system feels unclear at any point, the brain shifts into protection mode.
And protection mode means: exit.
Designing for trust means designing for emotional clarity

65% of users drop off during KYC in fintech apps.
Not because it’s long.
Because it feels uncertain.
This week, I’m breaking down how I’d redesign the experience 👇
This creates anticipation🎉💯

I’ve been thinking a lot about how my journey has evolved.
I started as a social media manager, managing communities, telling stories, and growing platforms.
Along the way, I realized I wasn’t just interested in content…As I was curious about how products are designed, how users think, and why some experiences just feel right.
Then I prompt ChatGPT to
“Create a caricature of me and my job based on everything you know about me”
because she has been my go to pal and we've come a long way😅❤️
This caricature captures that phase of my journey, learning UI/UX, building in public, and connecting creativity with strategy
My entry for ORÉLLE
A Luxury Skincare Brand That Embodies Modern Beauty🌟
I focused on:
A clean grid system (1440px content width, generous spacing)
Playfair Display + Mulish font pairing for elegance + clarity
Premium product visuals & serene hero section

Hi, I just created this page to document my UI/UX design journey. I’ll be sharing projects, lessons, and growth as I build in public
Which user are you, A or B?😇
