The Miracle Leaf You Need to Know About.

I thought to share this because it might be helpful to someone. My dad came home with a special leaf his colleague gave him. It's called the Miracle Leaf, also known as Ewe Abamoda in Yoruba. Its scientific name is Bryophyllum pinnatum.

As I was told, it really does a lot of wonders. For a person suffering from ulcer, you only need to take two leaves and eat it raw together with groundnut, it alleviate ulcer symptoms.

Sometimes, the juice from crushed leaves is used as an eye drop in traditional remedies but this has to be done with caution and it has to be sterilized. I'll advise you see an optometrist before doing this.

The sap is used as a natural antiseptic, you can apply it to cuts, wounds, and insect bites. The boiled leaf extract is consumed to relieve coughs, asthma, and other respiratory conditions. Drinking the juice or tea made from the leaves is believed to help dissolve kidney stones.

If you want to plant it, you only need to place a single leaf on moist soil. Tiny plantlets will grow around the edges of the leaf and will develop into new plants. Wonderful! This is why it is nicknamed the "Mother of Thousands."
