True Love

I’m overwhelmed!
By the flourishing
of your love and care —
Imbued with the aridity
of affectation.
Devoid of human histrionics.
A simulacrum of agape.

A suckling cradled
in a mother’s bosom
craves the nutriment
of the mother’s breast;
My infant-like heart
craves the nourishing
ooze of your tenderness.

Swimming in the ocean of the milk
of your human kindness,
Wherein my self-induced
semi-petrified soul
did get maceration ...

Who wouldn’t but bask
in the ambience of true love —
Which to me, you did communicate —
When, to me, you did say
‘I shall be your friend.’

A parcel of love in a verbal wrapping!
Despite a self-induced obliquity,
Having reneged on my first love.

Out of the woods,
I was
at the threshold.
Out of the blue,
Came the assurances of your amour.
Thence, I enthused
‘A quintessential syncretism
of sororal and amorous affection.’
That which you ladled out to me!
An attribute shared by Roojy and Rella.

My Heartthrob

In my dreams, without fail, you are with me.
In my wake, the loving hand of your Spirit
fondles my heart with lovingkindness.
Touching up my being to quintessence —
a version of me most cherished.
Reinvigorating my spirit for the day’s task.

Pulling the curtains of my heart,
The Light of your countenance —
the first ray that greets the face of my heart.
Purveying on its wings
the fragrance of Joy, Love,
and Peace.
Intrinsically exchanging pleasantries with the eye of my understanding.

With the guidance your presence provides me with,
Overwhelming placidity envelops my being.
To stratospheric altitude,
my heart’s exultant;
Waxing lyrical with every infinitesimal throb.
In the depths of my deceleratory consciousness, your substratal whispers court my soul with reassuring sweetness.

No One Ever Regrets Waiting on the Lord.

No one has ever made any meaningful advancement in life, being crippled by fear.
