“After the Holy Spirit” isn’t a finish line — it’s the starting point for the actual Christian life.

Here’s what’s next, in order:

1. *Learn to Walk in the Spirit daily*
Gal 5:16 – _“Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.”_
Receiving the Spirit is instant. Walking in Him is daily.
That means yielding your decisions, desires, and habits to Him instead of your flesh.
If you don’t learn this, you’ll have the Spirit but still live carnal.

2. *Produce the Fruit of the Spirit*
Gal 5:22-23 – love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control.
Power without character destroys you.
The Spirit’s first job is to make you like Jesus on the inside, not just give you gifts for the outside.

3. *Discover and Use the Gifts of the Spirit*
1 Cor 12:7 – _“To each is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good.”_
After filling comes function. Prophecy, healing, word of wisdom, tongues, discernment — these are for building the church and advancing God’s kingdom.
Don’t bury them. Ask, try, and let the Spirit flow through you.

4. *Live on Mission*
Acts 1:8 – _“You shall receive power... and you shall be my witnesses.”_
The Spirit wasn’t given to make you comfortable. He was given to make you a witness.
Next step is to start speaking Jesus to your class, workplace, street. Even if it’s awkward at first.

5. *Stay Filled and Guard Against Grieving Him*
Eph 5:18 – _“Be being filled with the Spirit.”_
Eph 4:30 – _“Do not grieve the Holy Spirit.”_
You can be filled and later get dry if you go back to sin, pride, or neglect prayer and the Word.
Keep the fellowship alive: prayer, Word, worship, obedience
