Royal Rangers Nigeria, Rivers State Command

ONE-YEAR ANNIVERSARY SPEECH

ROYAL RANGERS NIGERIA, RIVERS STATE COMMAND

Most Senior Officers, Generals, Commanders, Officers and Men, distinguished guests, ladies and gentlemen,

Today, honestly, my heart is full of gratitude to God. It is difficult to believe that one whole year has passed since I was given the privilege to serve as the Rivers State Commander of Royal Rangers Nigeria.

It has been a year of joy, challenges, learning, sacrifice and, above all, God's faithfulness.

I am not standing here to celebrate myself. I am celebrating all of us. I want to sincerely thank everyone who has stood by me, prayed for me, supported me, advised me and corrected me when necessary. I truly appreciate you.

One of the things that gives me great joy is that, in this one year, by the grace of God, nine souls have been added to Assemblies of God Nigeria in different locations and districts across Rivers State through our physical activities and our social media outreach.

For me, this is a beautiful testimony. It reminds me that Royal Rangers is not just about uniforms, marching, drills or camping. We are touching lives, building people and leading souls to Christ.

I also want to sincerely appreciate Rev. Chibueze Oyinatumba, PhD; Rev. Brigadier General Ebenezer Iweriso; Engr. Dr. Godstime Osemwegie; and Mama Obubeleye Harold JP. Thank you for your prayers, advice, encouragement, support and sacrifices. I may not be able to repay you, but I pray that God will richly reward you.

TO MY STATE OFFICERS

To my State Officers, my lieutenants and those working closely with me, I want to say a very big thank you.

You have carried this responsibility with me. I know there have been difficult moments, but you stayed committed, and I do not take that for granted.

As we begin the second phase of this administration, I am appealing to all of us: let us do more.

Let us communicate better. Let us support one another. Let us put aside anything that can divide us and focus on the work God has given us.

There is still a lot to do, and I believe that if we work together, we can achieve much more.

This first year has taught me that leadership is not about being above people. Leadership is about serving people.

And if we have achieved anything in this first year, it is because many hands have worked together.

If, during this first year, my words, decisions or actions have offended or hurt anyone, I sincerely ask for your forgiveness. I am not perfect. I am still learning, and I am still growing.

My dear Rangers, one year is gone, but the assignment continues.

Let us continue to pray together, work together and build together. Let us train our young people, build character, raise leaders, serve our communities and win more souls for Christ.

My simple motto remains:

God first.
Service second.
Self last.

Thank you for standing with me. Thank you for believing in the vision. Most importantly, thank you for giving me the opportunity to serve.

I love you, I appreciate you, and I am grateful for every one of you.

May God bless Royal Rangers Nigeria, and may God richly bless Rivers State Command.
