*MISAPPROPRIATION OF JAMB SLOTS: NAOS President, VP suspended by the House*

Solidarity greetings to members of National Association of Oyo Students (NAOS),National council. May our association continue to impact in us positively.

Following the resolution of the members of the legislative arm of the association, the leadership of this arm hereby wishes to announce the suspension of the President and the Vice President for 60 days and 14 days respectively owing to gross misconduct and misappropriation of JAMB slots that was initially proposed to be disbursed to indigents of Oyo.

*THE PRESIDENT (BABARINDE RIDWAN)*

The president in person of Babarinde Ridwan was suspended for 60 days (2 months) based on gross misconduct and misappropriation of JAMB forms given to the association. The allegations are as follows;

• No submission of adequate report on the allocation of the 50 JAMB slots given to the association

• Tampering of the list of qualified students submitted by the Educational committee to him by swapping genuine names with some unknown persons

• Mismanagement of other free JAMB slots that were presumed not disbursed to the public

*THE VICE PRESIDENT (BABATUNDE AZEEZAT)*

The vice president who doubled as the Chairman, Educational committee was suspended for a period of 14 days (2 weeks) for these allegations levied against her;

• Incompetency as the Chairman, Educational committee.

• Allowing the president to use her office to siphon some JAMB forms meant for qualified students

Also, the leadership of the legislative arm hereby wishes to inform the public that "A symposium" planned by the Central Executive Council is also suspended till further notice.

In line with the sacred Constitution of the association, the highest ranking officer (Speaker) shall take charge till the Vice President is back from the 2 weeks suspension when she would take charge as the Acting President till the President resumes office after 2 months.

Aare Sh*ttu Abeeb Omotoyosi,The NAOS National President sends warm greetings to the former president, Alh. Adelakun Yakub (2014 regime) on his birthday, 9th of April 2020 congratulating him for a life of courage, dedication and service to humanity to Oyo town, Oyo state and Nigeria as a whole.

The National President joins family members, friends and associates of the former President in celebrating the milestone, adding that Alh Yakub's commitment to the development of our dear association, National Association of Oyo Students remain outstanding and commendable.

As the former President celebrates this auspicious day, the NAOS National President on behalf of the entire NAOSites pray that Almighty Allah bless his new age and bless him with more outstanding achievement.

SENATOR SH*TTU ABEEB, THE NAOS NATIONAL PRESIDENT COMMANDER IN CHIEF OF ALL ALUTA FORCES(CCFA) LAUDS DR YUNUS AKINTUNDE EDUCATIONAL SUPPORTS

One way to love yourself and take charge of your life is through the practice of gratitude. Practicing gratitude increases self-awareness.

To this end, The Leadership of the National Association of Oyo Students under the auspices of Senator Sh*ttu Abeeb Omotoyosi(MHICULLY) administration disbursed 70 free Jamb forms (50 from Dr Yunus Akintunde and 20 from a philanthropist) which were done based on merit without favoutitism or biasness, " NAOS National must be redeemed and it should start from you and I,the President affirms

Senator Sh*ttu Abeeb, the NAOS National President has laud Dr. Yunus Akintude free Educational Scheme which had included the disbursement of 50 free jamb forms to Oyo indigens through the national body of National Association of Oyo Students (NAOS).

According to the president, Dr Yunus Akintunde is a true son of the soil through his philanthropical doings about a decade ago. He affirms that *Dr. Yunus Akintunde's free educational scheme* is aimed at developing the promising but less privileged youths within Oyo and its environs.

Equally, the President has commend the efforts of the Educational Committee ably led by Com. Oyekanmi Zainab, Tutors, Relevant Dignitaries,The Legislative Arm, The Judicial Arm and The General NAOSITES for making the programme a success.

NAOS NATIONAL CONDEMNS THE INCAPACITATED HANDICAPPED RESPONSES FROM FIRE SERVICES IN OYO TOWN.

The National body of the National Association of Oyo Students(NAOS) has condemn the incapacitated responses of Fire Services in Oyo town following the fire disaster that occurred at One of the most busiest road in the town, Owode on Saturday 15th February, 2020

The incident which has not claim the live of any citizen as at now but properties and peace of mind has been in disarray since the start of the fire which occurred earlier this evening at exactly some minutes after 4.

After the fire misfortunes bestowed the acient market of the town. Several occurence of fire incidents has struck markets, commercial buildings and factories which are deficient of immediate response needed because the angry mob present at Akesan Market inferno had destroyed the already destabilised and only fire service we believed we had in Oyo town.

Lately today, another fire inferno struck AIB Gas opposite st. Benerdines High school after an ugly fire inferno that affects a lot of stalls in Elekara Market yesterday which through the personal efforts of the market women and men was quenched successfully.

The President firstly condemns that Gas stations are not to be located at Commercial areas to avoid havoc in case of fire outbreak. This should have been sited fat away from the residential areas to avoid spread of the disaster in the later future. He further charge the ministry of Work and environment the responsibilty of looking into such matters.

The National body of the association appeal t all political office holders in Oyo and its environs to rescue our acient town from being wiped out of the state map with several fire inferno that has bestowed our dear town. It would augur well if the motto "Ajisebi Oyo Laari" could reflect in the commercial, residential and industrial part of th acient town.
