After completing his **Master’s Degree in Chemistry at Ahmadu Bello University in 1971**, Professor Emmanuel Mobolanle Adegboyega Olatunji began his academic career as an **Assistant Lecturer**.

But he did not stop there.

Through a **Federal Government scholarship** and an **Ahmadu Bello University Study Fellowship**, he travelled to the **University of Glasgow, United Kingdom**, where he completed his **Ph.D. in 1975**.
