.However,having embraced western education,they also parade a good number of professionals that cut across the various professions.The Isobos are accommodating ,peace loving,friendly and hardworking with a never say die instinct. The Isobos are grossly marginalized in terms of the distributions of amenities and political positions by the reason of her geographical location,terrain and her minority status but believe there is always a light at the end of the tunnel.Isobo has a rich cultural heritage that have survived westernization and other neocolonial influences.These rich cultures include the Aji Festival,the New Yam Festival and some other cultural practices that are peculiar to the Isobos alone. Historically,the Isobo people are great warriors that have conquered her opponents in so many conquests especially during the century of conquests.Isobos during the conquest era migrated from her ancestral home at NCHONU to several places in search of better living condition.This often resulted in her engaging the first settlers in such places in tribal wars.Interestingly,the Isobos usually defeated her opponents but unfortunately never satisfied with the land and the spoils therein.This has always kept them on the move and explains why they are Isobo remnants in places like Akpanwudele (now Ekpa Omaka);Nd'Oka,Okwuenyim;Nd'Nkash;Appiapum;Nko,Imabana Ochokwo;Igbo Imabana;just to mention but a few.Needless to mention the sad effects of wars on the Isobos. The good news is that the checkered history of the Isobos has become her rallying point for growth and communal integration.The fortunes of the forgotten people of Isobo have over the years gravitated positively all thanks to the redefinition of the Isobo dream and project by the new generation of Isobos. We believe that every generation has a mission and Isobo is not an exception. This crop of Isobo generation is determined to make a difference against all odds by changing the Isobo narratives. It is a duty that must be done in order to bequeath a new Isobo founded on and driven by vision, determination, comparative competitiveness spirit, sociopolitically opinionatedness, rejuvenated grit and passion for excellence .
