The Edo State Police Command has dismissed five serving officers for their involvement in criminal activities. The officers reportedly used commercial
buses to abduct unsuspecting residents, intimidate them while driving around Benin City, and extort money through POS transfers. Those dismissed are
Corporals Mordi Philip, Destiny Emmanuel, Uwatse Emmanuel, Okon Elvis, and Samuel David Obeten.
Inspector Ehubariemen Wisdom was also demoted to Sergeant over his alleged involvement.
